Chapter 191: Just Beat Him Up
Chapter 191: Just Beat Him Up
(Theodore’s POV)
“What did you dream about?” Amelia asked, her voice soft but persistent.
I looked at her. There was no point in hiding it.
“That night, I dreamed we completed the mating ceremony,” I confessed. My voice dropped an octave. “I dreamed you became my true Mate.”
The memory was vivid. After I first met her in that remote village, even though our contact was brief, I slept better than I had in years. The dream was consumed by her. I saw her under the moonlight, baring her neck, accepting my mark willingly.
Amelia was kneeling beside my wheelchair. Her hands, coated in cooling herbal ointment, pressed firmly into the stiff muscles of my legs. She paused for a second, then looked up
with a smirk.
“You dreamed of marking me after just one meeting?” She dug her thumb into a pressure point. “You really are a rogue, Theodore. A complete pervert.”
I let out a low chuckle. “When it comes to you, my rationality leaves the building.”
*It is instinct,* Logan roared triumphantly in my mind. *She is destined to be ours. He was very proud of that dream.
Amelia seemed satisfied with my honesty. Her eyes softened. “I like that,” she whispered. “I like that you can’t control your hunger for me.”
The air between us crackled with heat. But we had work to do. Amelia kept massaging, her rhythm steady.
“What about your side?” she asked, her tone shifting to business. “What is the progress on
Vivian Crimson?”
My expression hardened. “You have already cleaned up the mess in the Stone family. I cannot fall behind.”
I looked at her seriously. “Once we return to the Northern Territories, I will make my move. I will have her kidnapped immediately.”
Amelia’s fingers stopped moving on my legs. She glided her hand up, tracing the line of my

chest over my shirt. Her sapphire eyes turned dangerous and excited.
“Good,” she purred. “But don’t finish her off too quickly, I want a turn.”

She paused, a cruel smile curling her lips. “When you catch her, call me. I have some ideas about how to make her regret crossing us.”
The ruthlessness in her eyes ignited a fire in my gut. My Adam’s apple bobbed. I caught her hand and pressed it against my beating heart.
“As you wish, my Luna,” I said hoarsely.
The therapy session lasted another two hours. When she was finished, Amelia wiped her hands.
“Stay for lunch,” she said.
I was about to agree when my phone buzzed on the side table. I glanced at the screen. It was my father, Theron.
I picked up. “What is it?”
“Theodore,” Theron’s voice was demanding. “Isla is being discharged soon. You need to arrange a place for her to stay. The main estate is-”
“No,” I cut him off. My voice was cold as ice.
“If it is for that illegitimate daughter, she can stay in a hotel,” I said flatly. “Or she can go under a bridge and fight the bums for space. Do not think about letting her step foot in any Crimson property.”
“You-”
I hung up before he could finish. I tossed the phone onto the bed.
Amelia was watching me. She had heard everything. Her expression showed pure disdain for my father.
“You’re the Alpha King, Theo,” she said, her voice firm. “You don’t need anyone’s permission. If he disrespects you or the Pack, you put him in his place. Period.”
I frowned slightly, hesitating. “He is my father after all. If I act against him without a proper reason, the Pack elders and my grandfather might be difficult to deal with.”
Amelia rolled her eyes. She looked at me like I was being dense.
“Reason?” she scoffed. “Just tell them his presence was offending your authority as Alpha.

Or better yet, tell them he threatened your Mate. No one questions that.”

She paused, a wicked grin spreading across her face. “Besides, you could always say he entered the hall with his left foot first, bringing bad luck to the pack. It’s ridiculous enough that no one will dare argue.”
I stared at her for a moment, stunned. Then, a laugh bubbled up in my chest. Her logic was domineering and undeniable.
“Left foot,” I repeated, smiling. “Alright. Next time, I will use that.”
(Author’s POV)
Meanwhile, in a sterile hospital room, Theron stared at his phone. The screen was black. He had been hung up on.
His face turned a sickly shade of purple. He looked at the hospital bed where Isla lay, pale
and weak. Anger boiled in his veins, hot and uncontrollable.
He felt pushed to the edge of a cliff. Theodore was systematically destroying him. His financial sources were cut off. His authority in the family was being trampled. He even knew Theodore was secretly investigating Ronan’s bloodline.
Despair mixed with rage. Theron gritted his teeth. He had no choice.
With trembling fingers, he dialed a number. It was his niece, Vivian Crimson. He needed help to fight back against his own son.
Back at the Grey family estate, Amelia pushed Theodore’s wheelchair into the dining room.
The table was laden with food. There was roast venison, creamy mashed potatoes, and a large bowl of fresh vegetable salad. The aroma was mouthwatering.
However, getting seated proved to be a challenge.
“I’m sitting next to her!” Uncle Wesley declared, grabbing a chair.
“Dream on, old man!” Uncle Felix shoved him aside. “I have no generation gap with Amelia. We have things to talk about!”
“Move!” Wesley growled.
The scene was chaotic. The uncles were bickering like children, neither willing to give an inch.
Uncle Donovan sighed. He stepped forward calmly.

“Enough,” Donovan said. He pulled out a chair next to Seraphina. “Amelia, sit here with your mother.”
Amelia smiled and sat down. Donovan immediately took the seat opposite her.
“And Theodore,” Donovan pointed to the empty spot on Amelia’s other side. “You sit there.”
The other uncles groaned but accepted defeat. Donovan smiled at Theodore. “Take care of her. She just spent a lot of energy on your therapy.”
Theodore nodded. He picked up his knife and fork. He cut the roast venison on his plate into perfect, bite–sized pieces.
He speared a piece with his fork, intending to transfer it to Amelia’s plate.
Suddenly, Amelia leaned in. Before he could put the fork down, she opened her mouth and bit the meat directly off the tines.
She chewed slowly, her eyes locking with his. There was a teasing glint in them.
“Good boy,” she murmured, her voice low and husky. “Keep feeding me like that, and I might never let you leave.”
Theodore’s pupils dilated. A low, possessive growl rumbled in his throat. His gaze turned scorching hot.
Seraphina and Jaxon watched the interaction from across the table. They exchanged a look and smiled, relief and happiness evident in their eyes.
After lunch, the group moved to the living room. Master Elias was preparing to leave.
“Wait, Master Elias,” Amelia said. “Before you go, I have a surprise for you.”
She turned toward the staircase and let out a sharp whistle.
Elias looked confused. “A surprise?”
Suddenly, movement caught his eye. Three snakes–one black, one white, and one green–slid down the polished wooden banister.
The Grey family remained calm. They were used to Amelia’s strange affinity with animals.
Amelia pointed at the snakes as they reached the floor. “Black, White, Green. Do you remember him?”
The green snake paused. Its round, beady eyes lit up.

It immediately raised its upper body and slithered rapidly toward Elias. It reached his feet and began to circle him affectionately. It rubbed its head against his trouser leg, acting like an eager puppy begging for treats.
A few feet away, Black and White coiled together. They stared at Green with unblinking eyes. Their expression was unmistakable–pure contempt for their companion’s shameless bootlicking.
