Chapter 350: Glenda’s Sentence
Chapter 350: Glenda’s Sentence
(Amelia’s POV)
I tossed my phone onto the bedside table after sending that final, venomous message to the group chat.
I didn’t care if Lucas Lloyd was raging or shivering in fear right now. That was his problem to deal with.
I pulled the duvet up and closed my eyes. The scent of lavender filled the room, lulling me into a deep,
dreamless sleep.
The next morning, sunlight streamed through the curtains.
I stretched and walked down the stairs. The first floor of the Pack House was already bustling with
activity.
Jaxon and Seraphina were up early. They were moving around like generals commanding an army, organizing every detail for tonight’s birthday banquet.
Jaxon stood by the main entrance, speaking to the head of security.
“We need absolute safety tonight,” Jaxon’s voice was booming and authoritative.
He wasn’t taking any chances.
“I have mobilized the family’s most elite warriors,” he announced loud enough for everyone to hear. “Every member participating in tonight’s security detail will receive extra Merit Points.”
The warriors standing guard straightened their backs instantly.
“Furthermore,” Jaxon added, his eyes scanning the room. “You will all have priority rights in the next
promotion ceremony.”
For a werewolf, honor and pack status were far more intoxicating than gold. The warriors‘ eyes burned with determination, ready to die to defend the dignity of the Stone River Pack.
I smiled and turned my gaze to the living room.
́Seraphina was standing in the center, holding a magnificent evening gown she had designed herself. She
was meticulously checking every seam and crystal.
“Mom,” I called out, walking over. “Do you need any help?”
Seraphina looked up. A warm, relieved smile blossomed on her face.
“No, my dear,” she said gently, shaking her head. “Everything is under control.”
She gestured to the busy staff around her.
“Thirty–two relatives from the Grey family have arrived to help,” she explained. “Along with my old

subordinates. Everyone wants to make up for the twenty–one years we missed celebrating with you.”
I felt a lump form in my throat.
“By the way,” Seraphina continued, her tone shifting to pride. “Your new album is causing quite a stir.”
She smoothed the fabric of the dress.
“Don’t worry about the banquet preparations. Go handle your pack work. Just make sure you come back
on time tonight.”
She looked at me with expecting eyes.
“You are going to be the most shining queen of the ball.”
My heart warmed. I let my guard down, the hard shell I wore for the world melting away.
I stepped closer and leaned my head on her shoulder.
“Outside, I can be a queen,” I whispered softly. “But at home, I just want to be your daughter.”
Molly, the Omega maid passing by with a tray, chuckled.
“The difference between the Young Miss at home and outside is really big,” Molly said.
Seraphina stroked my hair. Her eyes were filled with deep affection, mixed with a lingering guilt for the lost
time.
“Go on now,” she said softly.
I moved to the dining table. It was laden with a rich Western breakfast.
Crispy bacon, sunny–side–up eggs, and freshly baked toast filled the air with a delicious aroma.
I ate quickly, savoring the taste of home. Then, I grabbed my keys and drove towards the company.
(Amelia’s POV)
I walked into the lobby of Starlight Entertainment.
Employees stopped in their tracks as I passed.
“Happy Birthday, Alpha Amelia!” they called out with genuine respect.
I nodded in acknowledgement and headed straight for my office.
As soon as I stepped in, my secretary, Anya Reed, rushed over. She was waving a tablet in her hand, her
face flushed with excitement.
“Alpha, it’s incredible!” Anya exclaimed. “The new songs have been online for less than twelve hours.”
She tapped the screen vigorously.
“Global streaming volume has already broken sixty million! All three singles have taken the top three spots on the Global Top 100 chart. It’s the fastest climb in the platform’s history!”

I sat down behind my desk, my expression calm.
“That is good news,” I said simply.

Compared to Anya’s excitement, I was far more interested in other numbers. I pulled up the stock market data for Gale Entertainment.
In my mind, my silver wolf, Ava, let out a bored yawn. She stretched her paws. To her, these human numbers were dull; she would only wag her tail if she heard the enemies were suffering or their stocks were plummeting.
I checked my phone messages. Lucas Lloyd still hadn’t replied to my taunt from last night. He was clearly choosing to play dead.
“Smart choice, but useless,” I muttered.
I opened social media on my computer. My songs were indeed dominating the charts.
But at the bottom of the trending list, another headline caught my eye. It was an official police report regarding the Hugh York car accident case.
The text was bold and final. The accident had been officially classified as first–degree murder.
The perpetrator, Glenda, showed no remorse and the circumstances were deemed heinous. The verdict: Life imprisonment without parole.
I scrolled down to the comments section. Netizens were cheering.
“Finally, justice is served!” one user wrote.
“An unloyal Alpha gets his karma,” another commented, posting a meme mocking Arthur York.
I tapped the like button on a few of the most biting comments. Almost immediately, sharp–eyed users noticed my activity.
Notifications flooded in. They tagged me, asking about the bet I made with Lucas.
I didn’t dodge the question. I typed out a public reply on my official account.
“The ‘dog walking‘ livestream will start promptly at 12:00 PM on the 25th. Don’t be late.”
I hit send.
The internet instantly exploded. Comments poured in at a dizzying speed, everyone waiting for the drama of a werewolf being walked like a dog.
I leaned back in my chair, a cold smile playing on my lips. I opened a new tab and searched for the video footage of Glenda’s sentencing.
(Author’s POV)
The trial had ended swiftly. Glenda was immediately escorted out of the courthouse.

She was being transported to the maximum–security prison in the Northern Territories.
Inside the specially reinforced transport vehicle, the air was stale and cold. The heavy metal handcuffs and shackles on her wrists and ankles clattered loudly with every bump in the road.
The sound grated on her nerves.
For a while, she had been in a daze. But as the vehicle rumbled on, the reality of the judge’s words finally crashed down on her.
Life imprisonment. Without parole.
She would rot in that dark, sunless prison until she died.
Glenda’s eyes widened in sheer terror. This was worse than a death sentence. It was a living hell.
Fear coiled around her heart like a cold, venomous snake.
“No…” she whispered, her voice trembling. “It wasn’t supposed to be like this.”
She remembered the man named Silas. He had promised her.
He told her that if she crashed into Arthur’s illegitimate son, Hugh, Amelia would cure her poison. He said Amelia would provide a psychiatric evaluation proving she was mentally unstable.
