Alpha’s Discarded Luna

Chapter 170

Talia’s POV

Nick points at Electra, his voice shaking with rage. This damn woman is spouting nonsense! I will teach her a lesson!

Aires frowns, his expression disgusted. Since when did hitting a woman become something to be proud of?

Nick freezes. His eyes dart around. People are watching. Phones are out, recording. A scene right outside the courthouse? That is the kind of thing that spreads fast. He drops his hand, his jaw tight, but he does not move.

Aires turns to me. Aeson has a fever. Are you not going back to

check on him?

I stay where I am, my voice flat. I am not going back.

His tone sharpens. We are divorced now, so you are just going to turn your back on your own child?

I meet his gaze. If you really want me to take care of him, why do not you hand over custody? If he is with me, I will take full responsibility.

He goes silent. His eyes bore into mine, dark and unreadable. 1/5

Chapter 170

Electra nudges me gently, her voice a whisper. Talia, do not forget about the money.

I nod. I have not forgotten. I look at Aires. As we agreed, you still owe me nine hundred million dollars. It is time to settle up.

He does not waste words. He pulls out his phone, calls Bruno, and gives the order. Within minutes, my phone buzzes. The money is there.

I check the balance, then slip the phone back into my bag. A smile spreads across my face. Electra, let us go.

Electra beams, her Time for a feast!

Citement barely contained. Let us go!

We turn to leave. A luxury car pulls up beside us. The door swings open. A tall, lean figure steps out. Strikingly handsome. Devilish charm. The kind of face that makes people stop and

stare.

Talia, Ms. Parker. His voice is smooth, easy. Long time no

see.

Electra’s eyes widen. Raymond! It has been ages! What have you been up to lately?

He shrugs, casual. Family business, mostly. But it is all sorted now.He flashes a grin. Why? Did you two miss me?

Electra laughs. Of course! No one has been spoiling us with fancy dinners without you around.

He grins wider. Well, what are you craving? Dinner is on me. Oh, almost forgot

He reaches into the front passenger seat and pulls out a bouquet. Fresh. Vibrant. He holds it out to me.

Talia, congratulations on your divorce. His smile is warm. It must feel good to be finally free from that misery.

Imema’s POV

I watch Talia take the flowers from that manRaymond, the one with the easy smile and the devilish charm. She accepts the bouquet like it is nothing special, just something she deserves.

Nine hundred million dollars! For useless supplements. For lies being passed off as medicine. And she has the nerve to stand there, smiling, like she earned every penny.

My hands curl into fists at my sides.

Nick leans in, his voice low, barely a whisper. Relax, Imema. Even if the money lands in her account, she will not get to enjoy it.His lips curl. Alpha always has ways to take it back.

I glance at him, doubtful. Really?

A wicked grin flickers across his scarred face. She might get the money, but spending it? Not a chance. He shrugs. Dealing with someone like Talia, who knows nothing about business or finance? That is child’s play for us.

I hesitate. But they have a child together. Would Alpha really go that far?

Nick snorts. If Talia had not pulled that stunt recently, maybe Alpha would have gone easy on her. But she crossed the line this time.

He glances toward Talia, his eyes cold and sharp. Some of Alpha’s business partners found out his wife was in contact with their rivals. They thought the Perseus Group was playing both sides. Trying to have their cake and eat it too.

He shakes his head. That is a serious taboo in this industry. Alpha spent ages cleaning up the mess. Some of the more paranoid CEOs even pulled out of deals with the Perseus Group altogether.

His voice drops lower. Thanks to Talia, the Perseus Group took a huge hit these past few months. Alpha is furious.

I watch his face. The hatred in his eyes is pure.

Chapter 170

At first, for Aeson’s sake, he was willing to hold off on the divorce. He thought dragging it out would teach her a lesson.Nick’s jaw tightens. But after this? She pushed him too far.

He sneers. Talia is digging her own grave. It will not be long before she realizes that her life has been this peaceful because Alpha has not made his move yet. And when he doesHe lets the words hang. She will be left wishing she was dead.

I let out a breath. The tightness in my chest eases, just a little. I watch Talia laugh at something Raymond says, her face bright and carefree.

She thinks she has won because tye money is hers, and so is the

freedom and the future.

She has no idea what is coming.

I let a small smile touch my lips. Good.
