Alpha’s Private Plaything
Chapter 201

“No!” I lurched forward, panic overriding exhaustion, trying to grab
the phone. “Drake, don’t you fucking dare!”
“Maybe a video call would be better,” he continued, his finger
hovering over the screen. “Show him exactly what you’re doing right
now. With who.”
My stomach turned to ice. “He’s just calling to check on me,” I
pleaded, my voice cracking with desperation. “He doesn’t know—”
“Doesn’t know what?” Drake’s voice dropped to a dangerous whisper.
“That you’re mine? That no matter how many times you run to him,
you always end up back with me, legs spread, begging for my cock?”
I stared at him in confusion, my cheeks burning with humiliation at
his crude words. “You don’t even want me.” The words tasted bitter on
my tongue. “Why do you care who else approaches me?”
The phone stopped ringing, only to start again immediately. Drake’s
expression hardened.

“He’s persistent, I’ll give him that.”
I grabbed Drake’s face between my hands, desperate to distract him.
“He’s just worried. He doesn’t know what happened. He’s not trying to
“To what? Take what’s mine?” Drake’s eyes flashed gold, his fingers
digging into my hips hard enough to bruise. “You think the Moonlight family sees you as anything more than a toy? You’re just a convenient
distraction for him, a way to get back at me.”
I kissed him then, not out of desire but desperation. Anything to keep
him from answering that phone, from destroying what little dignity I
had left. My tongue pushed into his mouth, my body pressing against
his in a last–ditch effort to reclaim his attention.
The phone rang a third time. Drake pulled back, eyes narrowed.
“He’s not going to stop, is he?”
“Please,” I begged, tears of frustration welling in my eyes. “He doesn’t mean anything by it. He’s just being nice.”
“Nice?” Drake laughed, the sound sharp enough to cut. “Is that what
you think this is? You’re more naive than I thought, Elsa.”

His movements became rougher, more possessive, as he hiked my leg
up around his waist and thrust into me again. Each movement was a
claim, a brand, as if he was trying to erase Allen’s very existence
through physical dominance. I didn’t fight anymore, didn’t have the
strength.
The truth of it crushed me. Even though Drake was the only man I’d
ever been with, I was still just a used–up Omega in everyone’s eyes.

I straightened my tie with practiced efficiency, my fingers moving
automatically as I restored order to my appearance, jaw clenched
with lingering tension. The small storage room reeked of sex and
sweat–our scents mingled together in a way that satisfied something
primal and possessive in me.
My wolf growled in approval beneath my skin. I glanced at Elsa, still
half–dressed and disheveled against the wall where I’d taken her
moments ago. Red marks bloomed across her neck and collarbone-
my marks. My territory.
“Get dressed,” I said, my voice returning to its usual cool detachment
despite the fire still burning in my veins. “We’re leaving. Now.”
She didn’t move immediately, her eyes unfocused from the drug still

coursing through her system. Her blouse hung open, revealing the
curve of her breasts and the red marks my fingers had left on her pale
skin. Something tightened in my chest–a mixture of satisfaction and
irritation. Fuck, she looked good wearing my marks.
I checked my reflection in the screen of my phone, running a hand
through my slightly disheveled hair. Perfect composure restored, not
a hair out of place. No one would ever guess what had just happened
in this dingy closet.
Her phone lay on the floor where it had fallen. I picked it up,
unlocked it with the passcode I’d memorized years ago, and scrolled
to her contacts, my jaw tightening as I saw Allen’s number. That
fucking pretty boy. I deleted it without hesitation, then tossed the
phone onto her lap, perhaps harder than necessary.
“You won’t be needing that contact anymore,” I said casually,
adjusting my cufflinks with deliberate precision. “Ever.”
Her eyes flashed with anger even through the haze. “You had no right
“I have every goddamn right,” I cut her off, stepping closer until I towered over her. “Or have you forgotten who was just buried inside
you? Quite enthusiastically, I might add.” My voice dropped to a
dangerous whisper. “Who you were begging for.”

She flinched as if I’d struck her, and I almost regretted my crudeness.
Almost.
“You forced me,” she muttered, her fingers trembling as she tried to
button her blouse.
I laughed, the sound sharp and without humor, slamming my palm against the wall beside her head. “Is that what you’re telling yourself? That I forced you when you were fucking begging me not to stop?” I leaned closer, inhaling her scent–mine now, thoroughly marked. “We
both know better, Elsa.”
She looked away, shame coloring her cheeks. The sight bothered me more than it should have. I shouldn’t care about her feelings, only her utility–as an assistant, as an Omega, as a temporary release. Yet something about her defeated posture made me want to both comfort
and dominate her all over again.
I checked my watch, pacing the small space with barely contained energy. “We’ve wasted enough time. Fix yourself up. We’re leaving in
two minutes.”
I turned away, giving her the illusion of privacy as she dressed. My wolf paced beneath my skin, still agitated from the confrontation and
