Chapter 527: Chapter 527 – The blood of the white wolf

Bloodfang took full control, forcing a shift as a growl tore from his mouth, tables broke as those sitting close by moved to stand at the far end of the hall.

Ravyn had also shifted, giving Axel control, and neither Alpha wolves hesitated for even a second. Neither wolf intended to let the Fenrir escape under any circumstances.

But the hall simply wasn’t large enough for three massive wolves to fully transform without putting every single person inside in serious danger.

Bloodfang reacted first. Using nothing but raw, unrestrained strength, he rammed Daeva backward with everything he had, forcing her toward the entrance.

Axel immediately joined him, driving the enraged Fenrir farther and farther away from the crowd that had gathered in stunned silence.

Across the room Damon came running with the wolfsbane clutched tightly in his hand. The vial trembled slightly as his eyes darted between Voren and Ravyn’s wolves.

If he used it carelessly, it could affect both Alphas just as badly as the Fenrir. Unsure what to do next, he looked toward Seraphine for guidance. "What do I do?"

Damon had stayed at the pack for just a few months, whereas Seraphine had lived there for decades. She should be more experienced in this matter.

However, Seraphine did not also expect this outburst from Daisy’s wolf, and was clueless, reaching out immediately to her wolf.

’Marsha... what do we do?’

Daeva had become even stronger than the last time Marsha handled her. Every ounce of Daisy’s hatred toward Seraphine had fueled the Fenrir until it felt almost completely unstoppable.

’You won’t like my answer.’ Marsha’s voice carried an unusual gravity that made Seraphine’s stomach twist.

At that exact moment Bloodfang and Axel finally succeeded in driving Daeva through the front doors. The bitter winter wind rushed into the hall as snow continued falling in thick sheets, covering the grounds in a thick blanket of white.

Despite the freezing weather, everyone hurried outside without hesitation. No one wanted to miss what was about to happen next.

The battle exploded across the snow-covered ground with a force that shook the air. Bloodfang lunged first, but Daeva twisted away with terrifying speed.

Axel immediately attacked from the opposite side, yet the Fenrir sprang over both wolves with unnatural agility and charged straight back toward the entrance. She wasn’t trying to escape, to reach Seraphine.

Bloodfang slammed into her before she could make it to the doors, knocking her deep into the snow. His enormous paws pinned her hard to the ground.

For one brief second it looked as though he had finally succeeded. Then Daeva let out a monstrous growl that cracked through the night. The ground beneath them split as she forced Bloodfang off and broke free once again.

Watching from the doorway, Seraphine’s heartbeat pounded against her ribs hard enough to hurt. ’Tell me now.’

The communication with her wolf carried pure urgency, and Marsha didn’t hesitate.

’Either let me take control, or give her your blood.’

Seraphine went completely still as the weight of those words settled over her. If Marsha fought and suffered serious injuries, those same injuries could be reflected onto her.

Normally she wouldn’t have cared one bit. Marsha had already overpowered Dae a once before but now everything had changed. Seraphine wasn’t only protecting herself, but the tiny pup growing inside her.

There was another problem hanging over her head. The moment she shifts, everyone would discover that Seraphine was a white wolf. No one knew who was hunting the white wolves right now and revealing herself in front of this many people could put an even bigger target on her back. No. That wasn’t an option, not today.

Her mind raced until an idea suddenly surfaced with perfect clarity. "Damon!"
