Chapter 181 Spend the Night With Him
Chapter 181 Spend the Night With Him
Felix suddenly clamped down on Natasha’s hand. He squeezed way too hard for a handshake, definitely not just polite Natasha instinctively frowned. She tried to pull her hand back, but his grip was too strong.
Seeing this, Dorothy quickly stepped in to help her out. “Mr. Tennon, honestly, Ms. Whittier’s skills are even more impressive than her looks. How about letting her walk you through the details of the collaboration later?” Dorothy said. Felix chuckled; his gaze stayed glued to Natasha. He looked her up and down as if checking out something for sale. “Great, just great!” he said.
He didn’t plan to come for this collaboration in the first place. But after seeing Natasha, his interest was instantly piqued Since it was a business engagement, drinking was inevitable.
Dorothy had planned to charm Felix and drink him under the table. Once he was drunk, sealing the deal would be easy. What she didn’t anticipate, however, was that his alcohol tolerance far surpassed hers.
After knocking back an entire bottle of hard liquor, even Dorothy, who usually had a pretty high tolerance, was feeling woozy. “Dorothy, stop drinking!” Natasha said, worry clear in her voice.
Felix seized the moment, grinning, “Yeah, Ms. Stetson, you look like you’re about to pass out. Why don’t you stretch out on the couch and take it easy? Ms. Whittier can stay here and keep me company; she’s all I need.”
Of course, Dorothy saw right through his sleazy intentions. ‘He just wants to send me away so he can have Natasha all to himself, she thought. ‘No way I’m letting him get what he wants.’
Dorothy pulled herself together, refusing to back down. “Who says I’m drunk? Mr. Tennon, another toast!”
Natasha watched Dorothy down another shot, worry gnawing at her. Just then, her phone started ringing. Natasha took the call as an excuse to slip out of the private room and answer it. It was Jared calling. Natasha swiped to answer. “Hello?”
Jared’s voice was as gentle as ever. “Why didn’t you answer the video call?” Normally, they would be video chatting at this time. Jared had been busy all day, and he had been looking forward to this moment. As Natasha didn’t pick up the video call, he couldn’t help but call to check in.
Natasha didn’t expect Jared to call her. She froze for a moment, then instinctively replied, “I’m out for a business. engagement.”
Jared’s brows furrowed. “What business engagement?” He was certain he had never assigned her anything involving entertaining clients. ‘What the hell is she up to?’ Jared thought, feeling uneasy.
Natasha quickly explained, “Actually, I’m just here to help Dorothy with her business engagement.”
She glanced back at the VIP room. “The guy she’s trying to close the deal with tonight is Felix, the person in charge of Ridgeway Group. He’s a real piece of work. Dorothy’s still trying to handle him, and I’m here to help out…”
Natasha didn’t give Jared a chance to say anything else and quickly ended the call. After hanging up, Jared couldn’t shake the feeling that something was off. He immediately grabbed his phone and called Derek.
“Dig up everything you can on Felix, the guy running Ridgeway Group. I want to know exactly who he is,” Jared said, his tone sharp.
“Got it!” Derek nodded and said.
When Natasha returned to the private room, she found Dorothy slumped over the table, clearly drunk. “Dorothy!” Natasha called out, worry flooding her voice. She hurried over, gently shaking her best friend, trying to rouse her.
‘Felix’s clearly not someone to be trifled with. Dorothy got drunk here; things might easily go wrong, Natasha thought. Sensing danger, she wanted to wake Dorothy up and get her out of there.
However, Felix was already eyeing her up. “Stop trying to wake her up. She’s way too drunk,” Felix said, his gaze all over Natasha. He grinned and suggested, “Why don’t you handle the deal with me instead?”
Natasha instinctively resisted. The way Felix looked at her was just too lecherous, making her guard go up. But when she thought about how much Dorothy cared about securing this deal, she gritted her teeth and, despite her reluctance, agreed.” Alright.”
As soon as she sat down, Felix gave her a pointed look and motioned to the seat right beside him. “Ms. Whittier, why are you sitting so far away? Come on, sit right here next to me,” Felix said, his tone oozing with sleaze.
“I’m comfortable right here, thank you,” Natash

Natasha instantly tensed up, her defenses kicking in. She instinctively shot to her feet, her only thought to get out of there Felix seized the moment, quickly grabbing her arm and pulling her back into her seat.
“Come on, relax. I’m not going to bite. Just want to have a drink and a little chat, that’s all,” he said, his voice dripping with sleaze.
Natasha managed a strained smile. “Mr. Tennon, maybe we can… Get back to talking about the contract?”
But Felix poured a drink and slid it right over to Natasha, making it clear he expected her to drink it. “Why so eager? Let’s loosen up with a drink first, break the ice before we talk business,” he said.
Natasha forced herself to take the glass, feeling every bit of reluctance. She knocked it back in one gulp, barely pausing to breathe. “Ms. Whittier, looks like you can really hold your liquor,” Felix smirked and said.
He leaned in, his face red from all the booze, skin shiny and greasy. Natasha gave him a perfunctory smile barely masking her discomfort. She inched away from him, doing her best to make it look casual.
But Felix was relentless. He scooted right back up to her, crowding her space. The stench of alcohol poured off him, mixed with a sense of threat, and his old face was plastered with a sleazy, leering grin.
Natasha’s heart shot straight into her throat. Her instincts screamed at her to run. In her panic, her hand accidentally knocked over a bottle of whiskey.
The liquor spilled all over the place, splashing across the table and onto the floor. Her dress was drenched. “Geez, look at you, so careless! Let me wipe that off for you,” Felix said, clearly itching to get his hands on her.
Natasha hastily stepped back, her voice tense and warning, “Mr. Tennon, please control yourself.”
Felix shot Natasha a sideways, lecherous grin. “As long as you spend the night with me, the deal’s as good as done,” he
said.
