An Affair With The Ceo (Natasha and Jared) novel Chapter 215

Chapter 215 Going to Jared’s Villa

Chapter 215 Going to Jared’s Villa

Natasha blushed, her face turning red.

But honestly, she needed it just as much.

There was no point pretending otherwise.

She agreed without hesitation. [Okay.]

It was the weekend, so she did not have to work.

After getting up, Natasha had planned to go to the supermarket for some shopping.

But out of the blue, she got a call from Roxanne.

Roxanne asked her to make a trip to Whittier Manor.

In all her years, this was the first time Roxanne had ever reached out to her directly.

Natasha had no clue what Roxanne was up to this time.

But she remembered that during the emergency at the hospital, Roxanne was also RH-A type.

Natasha was the one who donated blood to her.

After a brief hesitation, Natasha decided to head over to Whittier Manor.

When Natasha arrived, she bumped into the private doctor coming down from upstairs.

Sandra and Roxanne were both standing close to the doctor.

“Given Ms. Whittier’s current condition, I think it’s best to have a psychiatrist come take a look,” the doctor advised.

Rozanne and Sandra exchanged a glance, both sensing the seriousness of the situation.

“Can’t you treat her yourself?” Roxanne asked.

“I’ve already examined her,” the doctor replied. “Physically, she’s fine, but her mental condition is concerning. A psychologist is recommended.”

Roxanne’s temper flared instantly.

“What are you saying? Are you calling my daughter crazy? You’re the crazy one! You’re nothing but a quack…” Roaxanne pointed angrily at the doctor, her voice sharp with rage.

Sandra quickly stopped her. “Roxanne, don’t be like this. The doctor is just trying to help Joelle.”

Roxanne shook off her hand. “So you think he’s right? You really believe Joelle has a mental problem?”

Sandra stiffened. “That’s not what I meant…”

Roxanne shot her a fierce glare. “Shut up! Joelle isn’t your daughter. What do you even know?”

Sandra looked hurt and did not dare say another word.

Roxanne then continued scolding the doctor, refusing to accept his diagnosis and insisting that Joelle could not possibly have a mental illness.

Natasha watched quietly, already used to scenes like this.

Roxanne, with her privileged background and status as Collin’s wife, never took Sandra or anyone else seriously.

Natasha had not expected even the doctor to get a taste of Roxanne’s temper today.

In the end, Sandra repeatedly apologized to the doctor before finally sending him off.

“Why are you just standing there? Get over here!” Roxanne barked.

She stood at the top of the stairs, glaring down at Natasha, her tone commanding.

Natasha snapped back to reality and looked up in the direction of the voice.

Realizing that Roxanne was talking to her, Natasha made her way up the stairs.

Roxanne led her into a conservatory.

A servant immediately brought over some coffee and snacks.

“Sit down,” Roxanne said, gesturing for Natasha to take a seat.

Natasha eyed her cautiously. “If you’ve got something to say, just spit it out.”

Roxanne picked up her cup of coffee and took a slow sip.

“Last time I lost a lot of blood at the hospital, was it you who saved me?” Roxanne asked.

Natasha nodded. “Yeah.”

At the time, the situation had been critical. The hospital blood bank had already run out of Roxanne’s blood type.

Without a transfusion, Roxanne might not have survived.

Roxanne shot her a glance. “To be honest, I’ve never liked you. But I’m fair when it comes to grudges and favors. Since you saved my life, tell me, what do you want?”

Natasha stayed expressionless. “I don’t want anything.”

Roxanne let out a cold snort. “Drop the act with me. If I say I’ll do something, I’ll do it. As long as you’re not asking for the/ moon, I’ll make it happen.”

Roxanne felt that since Natasha had saved her life, it was only right to grant Natasha a request.

Natasha met Roxanne’s eyes and retorted, “Honestly, I don’t like you either! If the hospital hadn’t run out of your blood type,

I never would have donated. Just think of it as me being overly generous and donating for free.”

Roxanne could not help but give Natasha a second look after hearing her words.

Roxanne had always looked down on Natasha, the illegitimate daughter from an affair.

She always figured Natasha would be just as greedy as Sandra.

Now, she had given Natasha the chance to make a request, yet Natasha insisted she wanted nothing.

Roxanne did not buy it for a second.

In her view, Natasha’s refusal was not genuine. It was simply a way of asking for more.

Roxanne was not about to give Natasha that chance.

Roxanne pulled out a check she had already filled out and handed it to Natasha.

“This is what you deserve,” she said.

Natasha did not even spare it a glance.

“Who are you trying to insult here, Roxanne?” Natasha shot back.

‘Does she seriously think everyone can be bought off with cash?’ Natasha thought.

Roxanne arched her brow. “What, you think it’s too little? Fine. Then I’ll speak to your father and arrange for you to work at the Whittier Group.”

Roxanne was the one who always stopped Natasha from working at the Whittier Group.

Roxanne knew very well what Natasha was capable of.

Ever since childhood, Natasha’s academic performance had been outstanding, far surpassing Joelle and Collin.

If Natasha ever got a chance to work at Whittier Group, she would eventually make a name for herself and overshadow Joelle and Collin.

But Roxanne no longer wanted to stand in Natasha’s way.

Joelle had been mentally unstable since the breakup, and Collin was constantly causing trouble.

‘As long as Natasha agrees to follow my orders and always put Joelle and Collin first, I don’t mind letting her join the Whittier Group and work under them, Roxanne thought.

Natasha gave a cold smile and stood up, ready to leave.

“No need. I already told Dad no,” she said.

Roxanne’s expression darkened.

She never expected that Natasha was not interested in any of her offers.
