An Affair With The Ceo (Natasha and Jared) novel Chapter 247

Chapter 247 Exposed Affair

Chapter 247 Exposed Affair

Natasha turned her head, her brows drawing together in a frown.

“What do you mean?” she asked.

Joelle let out a mocking laugh. “Because you’re such a bitch, even your mom got caught up in your mess.”

Natasha had a sinking feeling in her gut.

Her eyes went wide as she stared at Collin. “This is because of me?”

Collin’s face was a mess of emotions, and he stammered for a long moment, unable to get a single sentence out.

Natasha finally realized something was seriously wrong.

“Tell me, is this really because of me?” she demanded, her voice urgent.

Collin met her gaze, his expression still troubled.

Seeing him so evasive, Natasha’s heart sank.

“Yes!” Collin finally admitted, his voice tense.

Joelle cut in for Collin, her expression full of spite. “It’s all because of…”

“Joelle, stop it!” Collin suddenly shouted, interrupting her.

“Why won’t you let me talk? Are you siding with her now?” Joelle glared at him angrily.

‘Does Collin seriously think Natasha is his real sister?’ Joelle thought, her heart burning with jealousy. ‘Absolutely not. The only one who’s actually his blood sibling is me, Joelle. Not Natasha.’

“Just leave already. Mom doesn’t want you around!” Collin snapped, clearly fed up.

Joelle felt indignant.

‘How could my own brother treat me like this?’ she thought, her heart seething with resentment.

“You don’t want me to say it? Well, I’m saying it anyway. If she hadn’t been cheating and Mom hadn’t found out, Mom wouldn’t have ended up in the hospital!” Joelle snapped, jabbing her finger at Natasha.

Natasha froze, her eyes wide. “What affair?”

Joelle glared at her with utter disgust. “Stop pretending to be innocent. Mom saw the photos of you hooking up with that guy. That’s what pushed her over the edge!”

Natasha’s mind went blank, like she’d just been hit by a freight train.

“What photos?” she blurted out, her voice trembling with disbelief.

Collin shot Joelle a sharp look, then spoke up. “Last night, Mom got an anonymous package. Inside were photos of you kissing and going out with some guy. Even though his face was blurred, anyone could tell it wasn’t Percy…”

Natasha’s heart clenched painfully.

The nightmare she’d feared most had finally become reality.

Her family had uncovered her forbidden affair with Jared.

Even though they didn’t yet know the man in the photos was Jared, she was already condemned in their eyes.

It made sense that Sandra had been so devastated that she landed in the hospital.

That was also why her dad had sounded so furious when he called her this morning.

Joelle looked like she’d finally got something on Natasha, her expression smug and mocking.

“Where are those photos?” Natasha demanded, her voice tight with anger.

She clenched her fists so hard her nails nearly broke the skin.

“They’re with Dad. He wants you to go see him after you visit Mom,” Collin said, his gaze heavy on her.

Natasha’s face was tense, worry etched in her brows.

Her father wanted to see her, and he was clearly calling her in for a reckoning.

‘How am I supposed to explain myself?’ Natasha thought, her heart pounding with anxiety.

“Natasha, wow, I never thought you’d be sneaking around behind Percy’s back! Seriously, you actually did this?” Joelle sneered, her voice dripping with contempt.

Chapter 247 Exposed Affair

She knew perfectly well that Natasha and Percy had already broken up.

But this was a rare chance to finally get something on Natasha and make her the Whittier family’s punching bag There was no way Joelle was going to let this golden opportunity slip by.

She was sure Roxanne and her dad would come down hard on Natasha for ruining the Whittier family’s reputation. “Just stop already!” Collin said, unable to take it anymore. “If you don’t have anything useful to say, just go home!” “Seriously? I’m her sister, too. Can’t I even give her a piece of my mind? She’s the one who went behind everyone’s back and pissed Mom off so bad she landed in the hospital. Why can’t I say something?” Joelle retorted, totally unfazed.

“If we’re talking about being shameless, I definitely learned from you, Joelle,” Natasha shot back, her tone laced with biting

sarcasm.

Joelle’s face twisted in shock. “Natasha, what did you just say?”

Natasha stared her down. “If cheating were a competition, you’d take the gold. No one else could even compete. I mean, you didn’t just go after some random guy. You went after your own brother-in-law. Even animals know better than to mess with their own family, but you? You crossed every line. Compared to you, I’m not even in the same league.”

Joelle was so angry that she was practically speechless. “You…”

She rushed at Natasha, about to go off on her, but Collin jumped in and held her back.

“You need to stop!” Collin snapped.

Joelle stared at Collin in disbelief, her voice shrill. “Natasha’s the one cheating, and you’re not even confronting her? Instead, you’re coming after me?”

Collin snorted. “Don’t act like you’re so innocent. What right do you have to judge her?”

Joelle’s face turned beet red. “I…”

Before she could say anything else nasty, Collin dragged her away.

With Joelle finally gone, Natasha had a rare moment of peace.

She lifted her head, drew in a deep breath, and let her eyes fall again.

No matter what, she couldn’t escape the fact that she was to blame for Sandra’s hospitalization.

If those anonymous photos hadn’t surfaced, Sandra might not have ended up hospitalized.

‘But who actually sent those photos to Mom? And what are they really after?’

Natasha didn’t have time to think about that. Seeing her mom came first.

She pushed open the door to the hospital room.

There, she saw Sandra lying on the bed, still unconscious.

Her face was visibly pale, and she looked completely worn out.

Natasha couldn’t help but feel a wave of distress.

‘If it hadn’t been for me, Mom never would have been hit so hard.’

She knew exactly how much her mom cared about her being with Percy.

Back then, it was Sandra who pushed her to hold on to Percy, to go through with the marriage alliance, so she and her mom could barely hang on in the Whittier family.

Eventually, Percy had risen to be the Grosso family’s heir and was the Whittier family’s prized son-in-law.

The rest of the Whittier family were practically falling over themselves to curry favor with him.

But right at that crucial moment, she’d made Percy look like a fool, cheating on him when he was at his peak.

To the rest of the Whittier family, she was basically the villain, the one who ruined everything.

If Percy ever found out, he’d definitely dump her.

And the Whittier family absolutely didn’t want that. Losing their golden son-in-law would be a nightmare.
