She ran over and opened the door.

When Dorothy saw Natasha open the door, she froze for a second, looking surprised.

“You two done already? That was fast,” Dorothy teased.

Natasha could tell right away that Dorothy had misunderstood what she and Jared had been doing inside.

Her face flushed bright red.

“It’s not what you think.”

She explained, feeling awkward.

Dorothy grinned, clearly enjoying the gossip. “So, what was it then?”

She had literally caught Jared and Natasha making out just moments ago.

“They were all over each other. Did they not take it any further?’ Dorothy thought to herself.

Natasha was just about to speak when Jared suddenly appeared behind her.

She blushed and clammed up right away.

“I’m heading out. I’ll pick you up tomorrow night,” Jared said, his lips curving into a gentle smile and his eyes soft.

He walked away, his tall figure passing right by them.

It wasn’t until Jared stepped into the elevator that Dorothy finally snapped out of it.

She hurried inside and asked Natasha, “So, how far have you and Mr. Rundell gone? What did he mean by picking you up tomorrow night?”

Natasha’s eyes darted. “It’s nothing special, really.”

She kept quiet about the fact that she’d said yes to being Jared’s girlfriend.

Honestly, she only agreed because Jared pressured her into it.

Deep down, she didn’t believe they could actually be a couple.

If Jared brought it up again, she’d never admit it, no matter what.

After all, Jared had acted shamelessly with her before.

She was just giving him a taste of his own medicine.

“So what do you mean by ‘just like that? Come on, spill!” Dorothy pressed, her curiosity practically bursting.

Natasha waved her hand dismissively.

“I’m beat. Let me sleep first, we’ll talk later,” she said.

She opened the door to her guest room and flopped onto the bed.

I just hope Natasha knows what she wants, Dorothy thought to herself.

Given how things were for Natasha right now, Jared was pretty much the only one she could count on.

But when she looked up, she was shocked to see a tall figure standing right behind them.

“Why would your dad let you work in a dump like this?” he asked.
