“I get it,” Natasha said.

She nodded, which meant she agreed.

Jared’s gaze was smoldering with intensity.

Sure enough, Nicolas had sent her a friend request.

She accepted it right away.

She was just about to pay him back for the dinner he covered tonight when Jared had already returned with the first-aid kit.

“Let me apply some medicine for you,” Jared said, gazing at her tenderly.

He bent down, dipped a cotton swab in the medicine, and carefully applied it to her wound.

At first, Natasha’s sprained ankle was still swollen and sore.

“Feeling better?” Jared asked softly.

Natasha gave a small smile. “Yeah, much better now.”

Natasha frowned, not backing down. “Doesn’t matter if you can’t. You’re gonna do it anyway. Will you do what I say or not?”

Jared smiled indulgently. “Absolutely. You’re my girlfriend now. Whatever you tell me to do, I’ll do it.”

Natasha finally felt at ease after hearing him say that.

She cleared her throat and continued, “Second, when it comes to anything intimate, you can’t pressure me just because you’re my boyfriend. You have to respect my wishes and let things happen at my pace.”
