Apocalyptic Disasters: Carrying a bun and hoarding supplies novel Chapter 109

Bai Meiyue drove to the apartment where Shen Zhen was living before the apocalypse. As she drove, she met with a few zombies that were staggering under the bright moonlight. Seeing these zombies, Bai Meiyue couldn’t help but feel a bit excited. She stepped on the accelerator and then started bumping into the zombies that were staggering on the street.

She crashed and crushed the zombies without stepping out of the motorboat, only stepping out when she needed to pick up the crystal nuclei. However, just as she stepped out, Bai Meiyue noticed that the sounds had attracted the zombies who were staggering in the alley and the street next to the one where she was.

With an impatient look, she stared at the zombies that were walking towards her and took out the large butcher knife that she bought and stored in her space pocket. Once the knife was in her hand, she twirled it twice before charging at the zombies.

Her speed was quick and her actions were swift; she didn’t show any mercy as she attacked the zombies with the butcher knife in her hands. Like she was cutting down a piece of meat, Bai Meiyue split the heads of the zombies. If she couldn’t cut them into halves, she would take out a gun and shoot them until their heads turned into bloody pulp.

Once she cleared up the new swarm of zombies, Bai Meiyue took out the nuclei with the tip of the knife. She gouged it out and flipped it in the air before washing it with the remaining water on the street and putting it in the space pockets.

[Ding.]

[Rare Crystal Nuclei detected; would the host like to exchange points with the system?]

Bai Meiyue looked at the notification and paused. She had thought about exchanging the antique goods that she had gotten her hands on after she was done collecting enough to open the new level in one go. Her eyes flickered but she resisted the temptation to exchange her zombie nuclei. After all, her brothers would need them in the future. She decided to exchange half of them when she returned home.

Bai Meiyue then jumped back into the motorboat and drove past the other streets where zombies were lurking. She was itchy to go and deal with these zombies but she didn’t. After all, she did not tell her family that she was going out; if they noticed that she was not at home, her brothers and mother would certainly be filled with worry.

It was better for her to hurry. Bai Meiyue drove her motorboat to the apartment where Shen Zhen lived with her family. With the water level receding, the water only filled the basement and the rest of the floors were completely dry.

Thus, there were quite a lot of zombies lurking in the building. Seeing the numerous zombies, Bai Meiyue raised her knife and hacked these monsters until she was able to pave a path for herself.

Very soon, Bai Meiyue arrived at the floor where Shen Zhen lived with her family. However, the moment she stepped inside the corridor, a piercing scream rang out.

"MONSTER!"

She then turned to look at the door in front of her and said, "Open the door."

Of course, no one in the Shen family opened the door, causing Bai Meiyue to threaten, "If you don’t open the door, I will have to break it open. Do you want me to break open the lock? That way anyone can get inside your house."

The Shen family didn’t believe Bai Meiyue but when she raised her hand and knocked heavily on the door, hard enough for her hand to form a crease on the door, they understood that this woman was different from the others.

Mother Shen pushed Qiu Li forward and asked her to open the door.

Qiu Li, who was pushed in front, looked at the Shen family gloomily. She turned to look at her sister, who lowered her head and pretended as if she couldn’t see anything. Qiu Li curled her lips in disdain before turning to walk over the door.

"Who are you?" Qiu Li asked when she saw Bai Meiyue standing outside the door.
