Apocalyptic Disasters: Carrying a bun and hoarding supplies novel Chapter 315

Lei Qian was indeed annoyed but when he saw that Bai Meiyue hadn't left the courtyard, he grew worried and came looking for her almost immediately. However, when he saw Bai Meiyue sitting in the love room while playing with the pack of condoms, he had no idea why but he suddenly felt all hot and bothered.

Before he knew it, he had walked inside the room and already brought Bai Meiyue in his arms. He said to her, "Yueyue, I really want to do it. Let me do it, please. I promise that I will take responsibility for you; I will never let you down. Just let me do it. Please."

"I like you—no, I love you. Let me please you wife."

Bai Meiyue was speechless. She couldn't understand what was going on in the head of this man. The two of them were surrounded by corpses both inside and outside and yet this man wanted to do her right here? How thirsty he was to do such a thing with her right here?

However, Bai Meiyue's train of thoughts broke when she smelt Lei Qian's sharp and spicy scent. She pursed her lips and tried to push the nausea down her throat; however, the closer the man got to her, the more fierce her nausea became. In the end, she couldn't help gagging because of the scent.

"Let go! You still didn't change your scent!" Bai Meiyue snapped. She pushed the man away from her and dry heaved heavily. She said to him, "Let go of me or else I will throw up."

She wasn't lying. She really didn't feel well.

When Lei Qian saw her dry heaving, he frowned. He looked down at her and questioned, "What's wrong with you?"

He reached out to caress her back and asked, "Are you sure that you are not pregnant?"

"Do you think I am so silly to keep a child in such a situation?" Bai Meiyue snapped. She didn't know why but she suddenly panicked when she heard Lei Qian question about the child. She knew that the man didn't mean it but when she thought about the future and the woman who might win him over, Bai Meiyue didn't want this man to know about her son.

The fear was simply instinctive.

After all, there was a time when she had trusted others and had lost her son.

There was no way she was going to trust anyone blindly.

She snapped so hard that Lei Qian was stunned. Though a flash of hurt glinted in his eyes, he still nodded without any sign of anger. He said to her, "Then we need to go to the doctor. After all, it's not normal for you to feel nauseated at the smallest thing."

Bai Meiyue rolled her eyes. She said to him, "I told you that I cannot withstand sharp and heavy scents. If only you listened to me."

The two of them rushed out of the courtyard, where Bai Meiyue grabbed hold of the RV that belonged to Murong Yue and drove past the secret passage that Murong Yue had built in her courtyard.

After all, the woman knew the good things that she had done and knew that someone would sooner or later try to harm her. Thus, she had already planned everything through and Bai Meiyue who knew Murong Yue really well, knew where the secret passage was, which made the entire thing even easier.

Once the two of them drove out of the building, Bai Meiyue told Lei Qian everything that she had found. "I found out that there is an organisation that seems to be getting stronger. That woman was affiliated with that organisation." She then relayed the matter of the Gu worm to Lei Qian, who frowned upon hearing her words.

He said to her, "Are you sure?"

"I am sure. Why, what's wrong? Do you know about this?"

"No, but I did hear about a fraction of the army starting research on the Gu worm," Lei Qian relayed to her. He stared at the road and continued speaking, "When I was in the army, I heard a man discussing these things quite frantically. Back then, that man was a new recruit and he was more involved in books."

"...I heard from others that after getting bullied by others, that man dropped out of the army and never returned but the notes, he left behind… they were taken by someone from his dormitory."
