Yan Wanning flinched; she didn’t think that she would be busted so easily. She sighed and said to Bai Meiyue, "Come here and sit down; I have cooked some nourishing porridge for you with soymilk."

Though Bai Meiyue knew that her mother wanted to say something else, she still walked over to the table and sat down obediently. Yan Wanning served her a bowl of porridge before sitting opposite Bai Meiyue.
