Bai Meiyue narrowed her eyes when she heard his words. She neither agreed nor disagreed, but that seemed to be enough of Lei Qian. He smiled gently as he patted Bai Meiyue’s belly and said to Xiao Cai, "Now you settle down for me. Your dad will come back in a while and then sleep with you. Till then, stay quiet and protect your mother, alright? Don’t trouble her."

After hearing the sound of people waking up inside, she nodded to herself and then walked away swiftly. "And don’t leave the premises today. The spy cameras of Yu Miaomiao are on guard; if you get caught, it will be really troublesome. Don’t make too much noise."

She then left without looking back, while Shen Zhen and Meng Suisui stayed upright on the bed, trying to process everything that Bai Meiyue had told them. The two of them had just woken up and couldn’t understand what was going on. They just fell asleep a few seconds ago. How come they ended up being spied on?

Bai Meiyue walked over to the open balcony and noticed a few cars lingering outside the buildings. It seemed like Yu Miaomiao was indeed suspicious. She turned around and walked to a side where no one could see her, opened a small opening in those cars, and waited for the mutated bugs to find this opening.
