Atticus's Odyssey: Reincarnated Into A Playground novel Chapter 1633

Chapter 1633: Evoli

Whoosh!

A radiant light ignited across the vast grassland, and two figures stepped out from its depths.

Atticus’ hand rested on the hilt of his katana as his gaze swept across the surroundings. Ahead of him stood a man clad in a simple white robe, long black hair cascading down his back, a measured smile on his face.

"Welcome to the Evoli Domain, Grand Sovereign Atticus."

Go bowed with respect, a palm pressed firmly against his chest.

"...."

Atticus gave a curd nod, but his attention still roamed the expanse around them. Beside him, Anorah was the same. Her fingers were tight around her blade as her sharp eyes wandered the terrain.

"...Ahem."

Go cleared his throat awkwardly. It was as though the two of them had consciously decided he was unworthy of acknowledgement.

’He’s the only one.’

After a moment, when Atticus was satisfied, his eyes settled on Go at last.

"Where is he?"

The Usurper’s brows knit slightly.

"The Grand Elder is at the palace. He’s waiting for you. He asked me to pass along his apologies for not receiving you personally."

Atticus exchanged a look with Anorah, many words flashing between them in that brief moment. He turned back to Go and gave a short nod.

"...Alright. Lead the way."

"Of course. Please, follow me."

Go dipped into another bow before launching into the skies in a streak of white, cutting across the horizon. Atticus and Anorah followed behind him, easily keeping up.

Atticus’ gaze turned distant as the wind rushed past them.

’They should be safe.’

Even with the seriousness of the current situation, his thoughts couldn’t help but be drawn to Eldoralth and his people.

Several months had passed since his fight with the Willguard and the major factions, and Atticus’ ascent had been relentless. He had finally stepped into the Summit.

’The veil will hold.’

With the enemies he currently had, he had prepared himself for battle the moment he arrived at the Summit.

However, they had been granted the usual one month free period. Before the inevitable war with the other factions came, Atticus had decided to conclude the matter with the Usurpers.

His eyes narrowed slightly as the endless forest beneath them unfolded into a vast, thriving expanse.

A city stretched into the horizon. Structures of varying shapes and heights littered the expanse.

The streets below were crowded with humanoid and non-humanoid figures alike. Aircraft glided through the air, while hovering vehicles and ground transports flowed along the roads.

A complete, flourishing civilization.

’So this is the Usurpers...’

New civilizations no longer startled him. Worlds fused with Eldoralth so often enough that such sights had become familiar. Even so, his eyes were still drawn to the city.

Beside him, Anorah was also silently staring at the city.

"Welcome to Evoli City."

Go’s smile deepened slightly, clearly satisfied with their reactions.

As they continued, it wasn’t long when a colossal mountain in the middle of the city came into view.

’Hmm...’

Atticus took in its sheer height. Even at their current altitude, the mountain still towered above them, its jagged peaks piercing through the clouds.

It was an awe inspiring sight. Atticus had no doubt it was made to overawe and unsettle any visitor who laid eyes upon it.

However, neither Atticus nor Anorah showed any reaction.

Moments later, they reached the summit and descended smoothly.

"This is the Evoli Palace."

Go extended a hand toward the grand expanse before them. A massive wooden gate dominated the entrance, framed by towering black pillars.

Beyond the enclosing walls was a grand structure that stretched skyward, surrounded by numerous smaller buildings arranged neatly across the grounds.

If Atticus were to compare it to anything, it resembled an ancient Asian imperial palace from Earth.

"I’ll lead the way."

They both followed behind as he led them through the palace grounds.

They went by a vast training field, filled with countless figures engaged in intense training.

Many stopped whatever they were doing as the trio passed. Their gazes were heavy, as though attempting to assert dominance on them. Even the instructors were no different.

’They’re true willers.’

Atticus narrowed his eyes slightly. Their numbers were not small. To see so many true willers gathered in a single location wasn’t anything he would have expected. For a moment, being a true willer didn’t seem so special anymore.

He and Anorah ignored the stares. One individual, however, overreached and directed killing intent at Atticus.

Atticus responded in kind. A flicker of his own killing intent caused the humanoid disciple to collapse unconscious where he stood.

The disciples gasped. Multiple figures unleashed their auras instantly, marching towards him.

Before Atticus’ hand could draw his blade, Go hastily stepped in. Using the name of the Grand Elder, he was able to force the disciples back.

Exhaling under his breath, Go gestured for them to proceed.
