Atticus's Odyssey: Reincarnated Into A Playground novel Chapter 1704

Chapter 1704: Rip

Elomot’s shock was palpable.

"H-how?"

Too many impossible things were happening at once.

First, Atticus shouldn’t even be here. The Executioners should have taken care of him already. If he was here... then did that mean he had defeated them?

’Impossible!’

Elomot refused to believe it. Yet even that wasn’t the most impossible thing before him.

Since the birth of the First Crown, never had there been a man capable of wielding Primal Will without eventually losing themselves to it.

Every soul consumed by Primal Will became nothing more than a mindless puppet consumed by rage and destruction before eventually degenerating into a Reverent.

Yet intelligence remained within Atticus’ widened gaze.

Coldness.

Sentience.

There was no doubt about it.

He was wielding Primal Will... and somehow retaining himself.

While Elomot felt like his entire world was collapsing, the eyes of Anorah and the others lit up instantly.

Atticus had arrived.

Yet despite their relief, faint frowns spread across several faces.

Anorah narrowed her eyes slightly.

’He feels different...’

Atticus had always possessed terrifying bloodlust, but this was different.

This wasn’t hostility directed merely at Elomot and his subordinates. It felt directed at the entire world.

And somehow... they alone seemed excluded from it.

Suddenly, Atticus turned.

His gaze swept across them, somehow meeting every single one of their eyes at once.

Anorah’s eyes narrowed further. Whatever monstrous bloodlust radiated from his body seemed amplified countless times within those eyes.

Those were the eyes of someone about to kill.

"I’ll handle them."

Atticus’ voice reverberated like the call of a reaper.

He hadn’t moved. Yet every soul froze instinctively.

Without waiting for a response, Atticus turned back toward Elomot. The moment their eyes met, Elomot stiffened.

Overwhelming killing intent swallowed him whole.

’This...!’

A flicker of rage erupted within Elomot’s chest.

Primal Will or not, he was Elomot True Mosan, descendant of the great Mosan family. There was no way a mere child would make him afraid.

"I have no idea how you escaped the Executioners," Elomot said coldly. "But all you’ve done is bury yourself deeper by coming here. A filthy little thing wielding Primal Will? There’s no way you’re walking out alive."

He waved a hand lazily.

"Kill him."

Kass and the Association Chairman stepped forward heavily. While the others stood around Level Two, Kass and the Chairman were both Mid Level Three, even stronger than the Executioners. Primal Will or not, there was no way Atticus could win.

Kass’ eyes sharpened as he slowly drew his thin blade, while the Chairman’s Will flared violently around him.

Yet they had barely taken another step when scorching wind slammed against their faces.

Their eyes constricted violently.

They had barely sensed it, yet it felt as though something had just ripped past them.

Their gazes snapped forward... then widened.

Atticus had vanished.

"Where!?"

They whirled around violently, only to see Atticus already standing calmly before Elomot.

"How—"

They had barely moved when their bodies suddenly began to corrode. Their legs dissolved into drifting ash first. Then their torsos followed.

The last thing they saw was Atticus’ broad back before they vanished completely.

But it wasn’t just them. Every single Mosan warrior behind them crumbled into ash as well.

Elomot’s eyes trembled as he staggered backward.

Yet Atticus’ hand shot forward instantly, seizing him tightly by the throat.

"You dare?"

Elomot’s scream tore through the city as his body thrashed wildly.

But Atticus wasn’t done.

His fists crashed forward like relentless torrents, battering Elomot over and over again. Bones shattered. Flesh charred. Pain beyond comprehension ravaged Elomot’s entire body.

Anorah and the others watched with varying degrees of shock.

Only hours had passed since they separated from Atticus.

How had he become this powerful!?

Still, none of them pitied Elomot in the slightest. Considering what he had intended to do, this brutality was well warranted.

Instead, Anorah was more worried about something else entirely.

’They’re coming.’

Atticus’ arrival alone had already alerted the city. Though they currently stood near the outskirts, it wouldn’t be long before warriors flooded the area.

What was even more surprising, however, was that Atticus calmly continued torturing Elomot as though the rest of the world didn’t matter in the slightest.

Eventually, the barrage stopped.

By then, Elomot had been reduced to little more than mangled remains.

Atticus’ Will had ravaged his body completely, turning his clothes and skin into ash. Exposed sinew and flesh remained visible while crimson energy continued corroding him relentlessly.

Blood streamed down Elomot’s ruined face as he stared at Atticus with pure terror.

"P-pwease..."

Atticus slowly lifted him higher by the throat. Not once throughout the torture had his indifferent expression changed.

Then he grabbed Elomot’s head, the skin sizzling beneath his touch. Elomot’s body trembled violently.

"P-pwease... d-don’t... ki-kill me..."

Atticus said nothing. He simply pulled.

Elomot’s neck had already begun tearing apart when suddenly...

FLASH!

Blinding light erupted from Elomot’s heart, engulfing his entire body before exploding toward Atticus in a catastrophic blast.

Atticus took the attack head-on without moving an inch.

Instead, the force blasted Elomot backward, sending him crashing violently across the ground.
