Mira nodded with vigor, wiping the tears away with the back of her hand.

Looking at the children sleeping peacefully in Elowen’s arms, Mira whispered in awe, “The young Lord and Lady are exactly like His Grace… they absolutely cannot live without you.”

Elowen smiled and shook her head. “It’s not the same.

“When Caius and Emily grow up, they’ll find people they love and dreams they want to chase. Even if they leave my side, they’ll be perfectly fine.
