Upon receiving the call from Qi Taiguo, Qi Fenglian hurried to their house, anxious and speculating the entire way about what could have possibly happened to warrant such urgency. When she saw Mother Qi crying bitterly, she understood everything.

It must have been some terrible incident, and moreover, it must have been Mother Qi’s doing!

Qi Fenglian sighed. With her younger brother’s attitude, what else was there for her not to understand? It seemed that this time, Mother Qi had truly chilled their hearts.

"It’s better to die, as there’s nothing worth living for anymore, I can’t take this!" Mother Qi said, looking lost.

"Mother Cheng, listen to what you’re saying, such bad luck! Come down first, let’s talk after you get down!" Mother Cheng tried to soothe her.
