Chapter 242 Uninvited
Liam raised an eyebrow. “Why?”
He sometimes couldn’t figure out what was going on in George’s head.
George glanced back at Layla and Shane, lowering his voice. “Don’t you think Shane is always competing with us for Layla?”
Liam nearly rolled his eyes.
He reached out and poked George’s forehead.
First of all, without Shane. Layla would never have accepted us. Have you forgotten how we treated Layla before, even if Stella tricked us?”
George’s gaze began to shift guiltily.
“Besides, did Layla look like she wanted to accept us at first? If Shane hadn’t been so generous, do you think Layla would even give you the time of day?”
With that. Liam stood up and walked off, not bothering to waste more words.
It was lowering his IQ.
George felt a wave of guilt after hearing Liam’s words.
He worried that Liam might go and tattle to Shane about the things he’d just said to him.
He scrambled to his feet and followed Liam, trailing right behind him.
Wherever Liam went, George went.
Finally, Liam couldn’t take it anymore. He spun around, teeth clenched. “Why are you following me?”
George put on a serious expression. I’m just watching what you do, learning from you.”
Liam looked George up and down expressionlessly. “I’m about to take a leak. You want to learn that too?”
George’s face flushed with embarrassment.
A soft laugh came from nearby.
Both Liam and George turned. It was Oliver.
They narrowed their eyes.
They hadn’t forgotten the message Oliver had sent Layla, obviously trying to use her.
Ever since the Quetzalcoatlus attack, Oliver had disappeared.
Now that things had calmed down, he suddenly reappeared.

Chapter 242 Uninvited
George laughed mockingly. “Some people talk about cooperation, but when trouble hits, they run further than anyone.”
Oliyer didn’t react to George’s taunts.
He walked up to them and lifted his chin slightly. “You’ve read my message, haven’t you, General Hartwell?”
Liam crossed his arms and tilted his head. “Yeah, I read it. So what?”
“Don’t you want to take down the Grant family?”
Liam’s lips curled. His slightly uptilted eyes held a hint of amusement. “Am I taking down the Grant family for myself, or for you?”
Smart people didn’t need things spelled out.
Oliver lowered his posture slightly. “Cooperating with the royal family has no downside for you. You’re not really planning to go to Planet M715, are you?”
Judging by what he said, it seemed Planet M175 wasn’t a very safe planet.
Liam’s eyes narrowed, his long, thick lashes hiding his thoughts.
Oliver knew he needed to demonstrate commitment.
He looked toward Layla, who was tending to Shane, and smiled slightly.
“I can give you intelligence on Planet M715. But when the new episode starts, I want to join your group.”
Before Liam could respond, George exploded. “What? You want to join us? You’re dreaming!”
Even Liam’s expression was unusually grave.
But he wasn’t as blunt as George. His tone was cold as he said, “That’s not our decision. Maybe you should talk to Layla directly.”
George frantically shook his head and tugged Liam’s sleeve. “Are you stupid? Why let him see Layla? He’s definitely after her!”
Hearing this, Oliver spread his hands slightly, looking innocent.
“I came with sincerity about cooperation. I think once Layla hears the intelligence, she’ll want me in the group.”
Liam wasn’t happy about it either, but the information about Planet M715 seemed more important.
He hesitated, then finally nodded. “Fine. Come with us to see Layla.”
Layla had been chatting and laughing with Shane when three figures appeared in front of her.
She looked up, and when she saw Oliver’s cool, refined eyes, she frowned slightly.
“Prince Oliver, what brings you here?”
