Beast Love Show: All For Her (by Sylvester Raven) novel Chapter 323

Chapter 323 Attack

“I’m not here to hurt you. I only want to help. This will counteract the poison. Come forward if you trust me,” Layla assured the wary hyena, her voice steady.

Suspicion lingered in the hyena’s eyes, but after a tense moment, it took a cautious step toward her.

It was the leader of its pack; the duty to test this strange offering fell upon it.

Once the syringe was emptied, clarity began to dawn in the creature’s gaze.

It even gave a tentative, grateful swish of its tail.

A soft, satisfied smile touched Layla’s lips.

It works.

The viewers, watching the scene unfold, erupted in amazement.

[Layla can actually make an antidote? She’s incredible!]

[Didn’t she say someone was drugging them to control them? Bet my last dollar it was Stella.]

[No kidding. Who else would pull a nasty stunt like that?]

[Gotta say though, Prince Oliver was pretty impressive back there. My opinion of him just went up a notch.]

Soon, all the hyenas had been treated, their earlier agitation melting into calm.

Carson, having shifted back to his human form, sniffed the air deeply, his brow furrowing as he caught a

scent.

He pointed into the distance. “There’s a much stronger chemical smell coming from over there. I’m going to check it out.”

“Be careful,” Layla said with a nod, watching him go before turning her attention back to the recovering pack alongside Oliver.

She gestured toward their distant campsite.

“We mean you no harm. If you stay away from our camp, we can live in peace. Is that a deal?” she addressed the lead hyena, keeping her movements slow and her tone even.

The hyena seemed to understand.

It blinked its obsidian eyes and dipped its head in a clear, deliberate nod.

Relief washed over Layla. “Good. I’ll mark the boundaries of our territory. Stay outside it, and even if you hunt out here, we won’t retaliate.”

The message clearly resonated.

The hyena leader nodded again, its demeanor lightening perceptibly.

Chapter 323 Attack

It circled Layla, nuzzling her leg and licking her hand with a rough, friendly tongue, making her giggle at the ticklish sensation.

Suddenly, the sound of furious snarls and a pained wolf’s cry sliced through the air from Carson’s direction.

Layla’s head snapped up, her smile vanishing.

“That’s trouble,” Oliver stated grimly.

“Let’s move!” Layla was already shifting, powerful wings erupting from her back as she launched into the air.

Oliver followed suit.

After a brief hesitation, the hyena leader bounded after them, as if driven by a newfound loyalty to the one who had freed its pack.

They raced through the sky, quickly reaching the source of the commotion.

Below, Carson, in his magnificent wolf form, was locked in a vicious struggle with two formidable beasts- massive albino liger and a thick, coiling emerald serpent.

The names “Julian” and “Leonard” flashed in Layla’s mind.

Her expression hardened into a grim mask.

These weren’t beastkin, just powerful animals, undoubtedly summoned by Leonard and Julian.

With a sharp cry, she dove.

Her powerful wingbeat slammed into the white liger, sending it tumbling with a roar.

Layla’s expression darkened further, her gaze fixed on the green serpent hissing nearby.

“Get lost. Now. Or you’ll regret it,” she warned, her voice low and dangerous.

Faced with her palpable strength, the snake finally retreated, slithering away into the shadows.

Fresh wounds marred Carson’s form, with vivid streaks of blood staining his pristine white fur-a sight that made her heart clench.

Layla moved closer, her voice dropping to a worried murmur.
