Chapter 2379: Chapter 363: Shui Xixing (Double-Length) (Part 2)

"Blade Scale!!!"

"Xun Xun..." Little Treasure Spirit peered through the gaps of two black holes, watching the Blade Scale Dragon below cry out in agony under the assault of black lights, patted its chest, and breathed a sigh of relief.

Luckily, it executed Shadow Piercing in time, otherwise, the one crying out in embarrassment would have been itself...

What was happening... Everyone and their Pet Beasts looked bewildered and confused, unable to react to the sudden cries of the Blade Scale Dragon.

Why was the Blade Scale Dragon crying out so miserably?

Did its defenses break?

What was that blue light just now?

As everyone and their Pet Beasts were baffled, on the commentary platform, Nephthys suddenly stood up excitedly, loudly announcing:

"The Nether Ring Monarch has utilized Mysterious Space! It has swapped its defensive abilities with the Blade Scale Dragon!"

Auroal was equally thrilled: "The Nether Ring Monarch has once again provided us with a huge surprise!"

"Yin Bell."

Yin Zhongsi sighed, expressing that despite the Nether Ring Monarch’s main attribute being Spectral Series, it employed so many Psychic Series skills.

"The Blade Scale Dragon’s entire defense has now been converted to the Nether Ring Monarch’s! It’s as if it’s become a fragile skin! Under all these black beams of attack, can it withstand?" Auroal said.

"Yin Bell."

Yin Zhongsi commented that if the Blade Scale Dragon’s defense was all transformed to the Nether Ring Monarch’s, it couldn’t withstand even one or two beams, let alone so many black beams.

Just as these words fell, there was a loud "boom" on the field, and the Blade Scale Dragon could no longer resist, collapsing to the ground, eyes dazed.

Dust rose into the air.

The black beams ceased, and calm returned to the field.

Little Treasure Spirit used a Substitute to appear next to the Blade Scale Dragon and checked it over.

The Substitute nodded at Little Treasure Spirit.

"Xun Xun..." Little Treasure Spirit finally breathed a sigh of relief, dispelling the black holes surrounding it.

"I didn’t even feel sorry for the Blade Scale Dragon, but now that you mention it, I suddenly pity it, its defeat was brought on by its own attack, and even its defense became the opponent’s..."

"Ahhh! Little Treasure Spirit! You’re so cool!"

"Gosh, facing Fendiduo would be better than encountering the Nether Ring Monarch, such an opponent is truly the most headache-inducing."

"Have you all noticed? In both matches, Xia Huo’s Pet Beasts were ones that defeated themselves with their own skills."

"I saw that, and honestly, I almost feel sorry for Xia Huo, hahahaha..."

"The Nether Ring Monarch’s skills seem so practical!"

"No, no, common Pet Beasts really can’t utilize such skills, like the Mysterious Space just now, it’s hardly seen in Emperor Level Pet Beast battles, except among Steel-type and Rock-type Pet Beasts; other Emperor Level Pet Beasts’ defenses are generally similar, even if swapped it doesn’t mean much. The Nether Ring Monarch’s low defense, coupled with its ability to deflect the opponent’s attacks and convert their defense to its own, is a truly rare occurrence."

"I really adore the Nether Ring Monarch, it’s just a shame that the Dragon Country on Flame Sky Star doesn’t have the Treasure-seeking Ghost species."

"Even if you made a contract with a Treasure- seeking Ghost, it doesn’t mean you could cultivate it into a Nether Ring Monarch."

"The Nether Ring Monarch won two matches unscathed, yet it hasn’t even used Mutual Return or Life Borrowing, it can at least take away one of Xia Huo’s Pet Beasts, I think Qiao Sang has pretty much won this match."
