"...."
Ethan turned around to see Lillian's eyes stuck on him causing him to chuckle as he set two plates on the table and he also sat down.
"Eat," he simply said as he picked up his fork and dug into the plate of food he just made.
Lillian wanted to say something else, but seeing how focused he was on eating, she figured they'd save that for later.
Besides, it has been a while since she ate his cooking, so she also picked up a fork and dug in.

A few minutes later, the two stood in the kitchen, handling the dishes.
"So," Lillian started, "mind telling what you've been up to, the past two days?"
Ethan paused before turning to her with a small smile on his face as he answered, "a lot."
Of course he has been up to a lot, after all he had created a freaking clone of himself and a teleportation machine.
How had he done that in just two days? Well, that's what she was hoping to know.
Ethan, seeing that she wasn't satisfied with that answer, dried his hand and placed it on her head, "don't overthink it, your boyfriend's just a genius that's way above his time."
Well, that successfully got a chuckle out of her, as she also dried her hands and they walked back to the living room.
"How's OmniTech's expansion going?" Ethan asked when they were comfortably on the couch.
"Just as planned," Lillian answered, "Irina's handling the Asian expansion."
Speaking of which, Ethan and Irina had also officially started dating, though it was something only a handful of people knew, which only included Irina's father.
But that didn't include Ethan's identity as OmniTech, not yet anyway.
Lillian didn't look bothered when she mentioned it, she had already approved of their relationship, as long as Ethan remembered who was first.
"I see," He nodded, "then I guess it's time we start working on the Antarctica base."
Lillian sat up straight before asking, "you haven't told me what that base is for."
"To prepare for war," Ethan said with a straight face.
"War?" Lillian questioned, a bit confused.
After all, with most of the world leaders having willingly accepted the nanobots into their systems, they were all basically now in his palm, so she saw no need for war.
Seeing her confusion Ethan smiled and explained, "more specifically, it's a war against aliens."
It took Lillian a couple of seconds to process what he just said before she slowly repeated, "aliens?"
"Hmm," Ethan nodded.
"Aliens are real?" She questioned again.
"Yes," He answered, "and we have a scout visiting us in less than a year, which is why I'm accelerating our preparations."
Lillian stared at him, searching his face for even the faintest hint of a joke.
There was none.
"…a scout," she said slowly. "You're telling me an alien scout is coming to Earth."
