Sienna took the laser pointer from the speaker and circled several key data points on the screen.
"The root cause of the patient's ten-year coma isn't brain damage."
She tapped her finger against the organ fluctuation curve. "It's a cascading toxic reaction triggered by drug metabolism.
"The culmination of over a dozen antipsychotic medications has turned his body into a restless vessel..."
In just a few short minutes, Sienna had thoroughly deconstructed the patient's seemingly incurable condition.
Finally, she spoke with a crisp, clinical detachment. "The patient's current complex complications are compounded by a deep coma.
"All conventional and advanced Western medical treatments pose irreversible risks. They cannot cure him, let alone restore his consciousness."
Sienna paused for a fraction of a second. "But alternative therapy can. As long as the blockages are cleared, I guarantee he will regain autonomous consciousness within three days."
Dead silence fell over the hall.
Everyone stared in absolute disbelief, their jaws practically hitting the floor.
A terminal illness that had stumped the world for decades. A condition that countless medical titans had deemed hopeless.
And she was casually claiming that alternative medicine could cure it, boldly guaranteeing he would wake up in three days?
Several leading authorities exchanged skeptical glances, unsure whether Sienna was telling the truth or simply out of her mind.
Celeste was the first to snap out of her daze. Mockery flooded her eyes as she immediately turned to Jarred and Helena, sliding effortlessly into a manipulative tone to stir the pot.
"Dr. Sloan, perhaps you didn't notice, but there are many internationally renowned media outlets present today."
She feigned deep concern, her voice laced with pity. "So many highly respected veterans haven't been able to solve this puzzle, yet you're making such reckless promises.
"If you fail, making a fool of yourself is one thing, but it would drag Jarred down with you. Having him shoulder the blame and humiliation just isn't worth it."
Her words seemed like a friendly warning, but Celeste had deliberately projected her voice.
Sienna noticed that several reporters had already discreetly turned their cameras toward her.
Her expression remained completely unfazed.
