Betrayed by the Father Reborn in His Rival's Arms novel Chapter 161

As she prepared to leave, Tessa pulled out her phone. "You need proof, you fool. I happen to have a video of Liliana Lansbury announcing her pregnancy in front of everyone. I'll edit it and send it to you. Arthur Whitman won't have a single excuse left. After being humiliated like that, you're dead set on leaving Lucius. If Arthur doesn't let you, swear you'll tear the Whitman Group apart from the inside. Trust me, he'll sign the papers immediately."

Madeline felt the exact same way. Liliana had pushed things way too far.

Back then, the only reason Arthur had set that one-month observation period was because he thought Madeline's heart could still be won back. As long as Arthur realized she had zero love left for Lucius—only absolute resentment—he would never risk keeping her by Lucius's side.

Just imagine the terrifying destructive power of a woman fueled solely by hatred. In extreme cases, women had drugged their husbands or taken a knife to their pride. Lucius was the heir to the Whitman family; they couldn't afford a risk like that.

Madeline asked Tessa to send the video over. As she scrolled through the photo album, she discovered something completely unexpected.

Tessa's phone was filled with photos of Cyrus Sterling.

She couldn't help but ask, "Why are you secretly taking pictures of him?"

Tessa blushed deeply and quickly swiped past the album, pretending she hadn't heard as she found the video and started editing it.

Noticing her guilt, Madeline pressed on, "Are you in love?"

Tessa smiled sheepishly. "No."
