Chapter 222: Plotting to have his child (4)

"Father!"

"Vivienne, lower your voice," said Victor.

Vivienne closed the door behind her. "The princess is well now and will create trouble. She is determined to come between Darius and me. I do not have time for her childish games. She wants to say that I am a terrible mother." frёeweɓηovel.coɱ

"You are a wonderful mother," Victor said, merely to cheer Vivienne up. "You must ignore what the princess says. She is lashing out now because the man she wants is married. Focus on having a child."

Victor took out a magic stone from his pocket to keep their talk private.

"I have been doing just that from the moment I married Darius but now, I am forced to put up with Morgana. Kill them both," Vivienne pleaded. "Free me from this life. If you care for me, please get rid of them."

Victor was done with this repeated conversation. He already told Vivienne what she needed to do to be free. "Vivienne, you must do as I say and then I will give you what you want. It will not be long before the princess goes back to focusing on Lord Blackthorn. Focus on having a child."

Vivienne closed her eyes and counted in her head to calm herself. Her father was right beside Darius trying to make her lose her mind.

"I don’t want to have a child. You must stop telling me to have his child. I have done enough and now it is your time to get rid of him. It is not guaranteed Darius will have enough votes to stay as king so as my father, get rid of him," Vivienne said, hoping he would agree this time.

"I won’t be doing that,’ Victor replied. Darius was too important to him now to let him die.

"You’d rather I suffer by his side," Vivienne concluded.

Victor touched Vivienne’s shoulder. "Only for a little while longer until you are carrying his child. He will not touch you then."

Vivienne moved Victor’s hand from touching her. "Then you don’t know him well. Darius is a pig who will seek to lay with me no matter how pregnant I am and you are a pig who doesn’t care for his daughter. It is time you leave the palace."

Vivienne didn’t have any use for her father when he was going to disregard how she felt.

Victor didn’t take her words seriously. "There is still much for me to do in the palace and I didn’t come here with an invitation from you. You cannot send me away."

"I can when I feel like there is nothing for you to do here, father. You must go and tend to our family at home. I don’t need you watching over me for the moment I will be pregnant. I will have the servant pack your things," said Vivienne, wanting it done now.

Vivienne could only deal with one man who didn’t consider her feelings at the time. Unfortunately, it made the most sense for her father to leave.

Victor took her order as more of a joke. "Now you are acting like the same princess you complained about Vivienne. How you are acting now is silly. I am trying to do what is best for our family. What is best for you."

"No," Vivienne shook her head. "You never thought about what is best for me. If you did, you would have been angry when I told you everything he did to me and the people around me. You only care about the throne which Darius will lose one day and I am certain no one from our family will be named king."

Vivienne glanced at the door. "I should just walk out of here. I can leave right now and they will gather to find someone else to replace me. I am tired of putting up with Darius and now with his sister. Year after year I have held on a little more for your plans yet here I am asked to have another child."

Vivienne ignored her father’s calls and returned to where she left Darius. She would deal with Darius later but right now she needed her father out of the palace and the best person to help her was Darius.

Vivienne pushed the doors open and walked right to where Darius still sat.

"I am not in the mood to argue with you again, Vivienne. Go somewhere else," Darius advised her. He had bigger things to worry about.

Vivienne ignored what he said and went around the large table to sit on his lap.

This action confused Darius since Vivienne hadn’t done it in a long time. "Are you sick? Or, are you trying to kill me?" He asked, reluctant to touch her.

Vivienne rested her head on his shoulder. "I want my father out of the palace by the end of the day. I can’t take it anymore. Please," she pleaded.

Darius frowned, confused by what was happening. He thought Vivienne’s relationship with her father was good. "What happened?"

"Just get him out as soon as you can."

"Okay," Darius replied, not needing to hear anymore. She had never made such a request before and since he also wanted Victor gone, it would benefit him. "I’ll get him out soon. No one has your back like me, Vivienne. We shouldn’t fight."

Darius’ words fell on deaf ears as Vivienne thought of how she would kill him. She was tired of these men trying to control her life.
