Boss, Your Ex-Wife is Unreachable Now! novel Chapter 357

Around evening, Alistair returned home from the police station, looking completely devastated and in a daze.

His only living relative in this world, the biological sister he had finally managed to find, had been murdered.

And she was killed by a psychiatric patient. If this patient could prove he was having a psychotic episode at the time of the murder, he might not even have to bear any criminal responsibility.

Alistair couldn't accept such an outcome.

However, what he found even more unacceptable was that before Zoe died, she had been sued by Willow and locked up in a detention center for a day and two nights.

It was that woman Willow again!

Alistair's previously clouded eyes instantly turned bloodshot.

It had to be this woman seeking revenge against Zoe for setting her up. She held a grudge, so she deliberately hired a hitman to kill her!

But the only reason Zoe went down that dark path and did those things was because she was pushed into a corner by Willow!

Who told her to hurt the guiding light in Zoe's heart!

Zoe had experienced some horrific things when she was little, suffering severe physical and mental trauma, which left her mentally unstable. If Rosamund hadn't shown up just in time and pulled Zoe out of the abyss, Zoe would have killed herself long ago, never living to see the day the two siblings reunited.

Thinking of Rosamund made Alistair feel restless.

He wondered if the things Zoe had done would implicate her.

Alistair racked his brain, trying to figure out how to avenge his sister Zoe without dragging Rosamund into it.

Just like his sister Zoe, he viewed Rosamund as the sole light in his life, the most sacred angel in his heart.

He absolutely wouldn't allow a beautiful, kindhearted woman like Rosamund to suffer the slightest harm or fallout.

To keep Rosamund out of it, Alistair didn't even plan to tell her about his sister Zoe's death.

He worried that once this kind woman found out, she wouldn't be able to resist stepping in to help, and in doing so, she would definitely become a target for a vicious, scheming woman like Willow.

Alistair suddenly felt a pang of regret; he should have told his sister Zoe the news that Beasley and Willow had already divorced.

Back then, he had only shared this secret with Rosamund alone, hoping it would make her happy, because he knew Rosamund was deeply in love with Beasley.
