Boss, Your Ex-Wife is Unreachable Now! novel Chapter 398

"You're making baseless accusations! I could sue you for defamation!" she fired back indignantly.

But her threat meant absolutely nothing to him. It was completely useless.

"For every day you lie, you'll spend a day locked in here."

"You're going to hold me hostage?" Rosamund stared at him in disbelief.

"Haven't you always wanted to be the lady of the house?" A cruel smirk played on his lips. "You get to stay for free. You should be thrilled."

"I admit I have feelings for you, but you have no right to treat me like this!" She was still clinging to her innocent act. "You don't have to like me, but don't drag my name through the mud!"

Ignoring her terrible acting, Beasley threw out another question. "Didn't Zoe want to get Willow hooked on drugs?"

Rosamund panicked and blurted out, "What does that have to do with me?"

"Once you're hooked on them, whether it has to do with you won't really matter," he told her with an icy glare.

Her eyes flew wide, her blood turning to ice. "What are you going to do to me?"

Was he really going to force drugs on her? How could he do such a thing?

Staring at his handsome but demonic face, a deep terror twisted her stomach into knots.

No, he absolutely would.

If he wanted to, he could do whatever he pleased to her and easily get away with it.

"Do you think torturing me is going to win Willow back?" she suddenly laughed.

If her fate was already sealed, she might as well make him miserable while she went down.

Beasley narrowed his cold eyes and pressed his lips together, staying completely silent.

Seeing his dark, quiet reaction gave her a twisted sense of satisfaction.

Beasley's expression hardened. It took every ounce of his willpower not to kill her right then and there.

Even shoving her away had made him feel filthy. He wasn't about to get his hands dirty.

Seeing the sheer disgust in his eyes made Rosamund see red again.

"Oh, and I almost forgot. Dorothy ending up in the hospital fighting for her life? That was me too."

"Say that again," Beasley growled, shooting up from the couch with murder in his eyes.

Rosamund gave him a mocking look. "What? Don't think I have it in me?"

Smug as ever, she explained exactly how she had manipulated Alistair, using him to deliver a custom-made perfume designed to act as an untraceable poison.

"How did you know Dorothy had a heart transplant?" A flicker of shock crossed his face.

Dorothy's surgery had been heavily covered up by his father. Beasley had to go through hell to uncover the truth himself. So how the hell did Rosamund know about it?
