Bound to my Enemy novel Chapter 198

Chapter 198: Chapter 198.

"Let’s fight."

She actually smirks like this is funny and I’m a joke. Her eyes drag over me slowly.....taking in the way I’m swaying a little, the way my clothes hang off me, the dried blood, the exhaustion.

She thinks I’m weak, she’s not wrong but she thinks that’s all I am. That’s where she’s going to regret it.

"Really?" she says, tilting her head. "You want to fight me?"

There’s amusement and mockery in her boice.

Her lips curl slightly. "If I beat you... would you let me go?"

I don’t hesitate.

"Yes."

Her eyes narrow slightly like doesn’t trust it.

"I don’t believe you," she says flatly.

I lift my chin just a little.

"You have my word," I reply.

"My brothers will let you go. No one will touch you."

A pause.

Then I add, "No harm will come to you."

I feel Noah shift beside me.

"Elaine," he says, low and tense. "Please."

I glance at him briefly....to see his face is tight with worry.

"You’re weak," he continues. "And we don’t have time for this. Let Lucas end it and let’s go."

I shake my head slowly. 𝙛𝓻𝒆𝒆𝒘𝙚𝓫𝙣𝙤𝒗𝙚𝓵.𝙘𝙤𝙢

"No.

"What is between me and her is personal."

I turn my gaze back to the woman. My jaw tightening.

"She’s related to the man who raped me."

"And she killed my friend right in front of me."

My chest tightens.

"So yeah... we have very personal business."

Silence stretches for a second then she smiles clearly excited.

"Alright then," she says.

"Bring it on."

Lucas steps back slightly giving us enough space.

Noah hesitates.....but then he lets go of me slowly and I take a step forward.....my legs feel unsteady and my body is still weak but I move anyway.

She doesn’t wait, she lunges first and she’sfaster than I expected as her hand shoots out, grabbing my shoulder, and before I can react.....She slams her fist into my face hard...Pain explodes instantly as my head snaps to the side, my vision blurring for a second as my body stumbles.

I barely catch myself before I hit the ground.

"Elaine....." Noah starts.

"I’m fine!" I snap, even though I’m not....not even close.

She doesn’t give me time to recover, she comes at me again and delivers Another hit this time to my stomach. I gasp, the air knocked out of me as I double over instinctively and she grabs my hair....and yanks my head back.....and slaps me so hard my ears ring.

"Thought you could handle me?" she sneers.

My body feels heavy and slow as every movement takes effort. She shoves me back and I stumble, nearly falling.

She stumbles back, disoriented.

I follow.....reelentless now. I punch her...then I give her another punch And another, each hit fueled by something deeper. She tries to fight back....But I don’t stop

I don’t let her as I shove her again.. trill she falls and hits the ground, I’m on her immediately as my fists keep moving Over and over again.

I hit her face, her shoulders. Anywhere I can reach.

She struggles weakly now and trying to push me off but I’m stronger now...not physically....But mentally.

I don’t stop.....I can’t ....Everything I held in....

Everything I swallowed...it all comes out in every hit.

"Stop....." she gasps.

But I don’t

Her movements slow now and weaker...as her hands drop and her body gives. Until she’s barely moving at all.

I stop only when I feel it.....when she’s no longer fighting back and breathing unevenly.

She looks up at me, her eyes wild... as I see fear finally there

"Please..." she whispers.

Her voice is small now and desperate.

"Let me go...

I stare at her, Breathing hard my chest rising and falling rapidly and for a second....There’s nothing in my heart for her... no pity

"You remember my driver?" I ask quietly.

My voice sounds strange and detached even to my own ears.

"Do you remember him begging you like this?"
