Teresa's biological father's mystery kept Marguerite restless all night, leaving her unable to get out of bed the next morning. She had no choice but to take a half-day off to recuperate.
When she arrived at the office in the afternoon, she was shocked to see that Yuna had come to work! The two crossed paths in the elevator, where Yuna's eyes blazed with fury. Marguerite, however, treated her as if she were invisible.
Fuming, Yuna stepped in front of Marguerite, cornering her. "Marguerite, don't think for a second that I don't know you're behind this!"
Forced to meet her gaze, Marguerite noticed the huge dark circles and tired bags under Yuna's eyes—clear signs of a night plagued by hallucinations. "Paranoia suits you well; you should really see a doctor."
"Save it! That wasn't just any vitamin your assistant gave me!"
"The vitamins were fine, and there's nothing suspicious in your system. Want me to show you the lab report?"
"Like I'd trust you didn't tamper with that!"
Marguerite sighed, "I have nothing to say to you. If you're so sure, go ahead, call the cops."
As the elevator dinged for the design department, Marguerite glanced over Yuna's shoulder, asking, "Not getting off? You'd rather go up and argue with me?"
Hearing it was Frederick, Yuna's anger deflated. She still harbored feelings for him, so she begrudgingly made her way to the meeting, choosing a seat in the corner. As she struggled to stay awake through the reports, someone knocked on the meeting room door.
Jolted awake, Yuna saw Violet sneaking in with a folder, handing it to Frederick, who was listening to a presentation. Seeing Violet infuriated Yuna, her eyes widening in anger. But in a blink, Yuna saw Violet wearing an orange-yellow scarf, eerily similar to Penelope's favorite.
In that moment, everything turned into a misty illusion. Violet's face grew pale, and two streams of red trickled down from her eyes—like tears or blood. Shivering, Yuna shut her eyes tight, then opened them again.
Violet was gone, and turning around, Yuna was shocked to see Penelope sitting next to her, smiling wanly. "Yuna, my dear girl, it's been half a month since I left. Have you started to miss me yet?"
