Riley posted a screenshot straight into the chat.

“SpicyBurger: High-grade Anthracite x 500. Trading for Gold-Resistant Soft Leather, Sharpening Stones, Refined Iron Bar. Ratio 1:5. DM if interested-bulk orders get priority.”
The replies flooded in immediately.
“Got you! I’ve got five pieces of soft leather! Check your DMs, SpicyBurger!”
“No leather here, but I do have “Polár Fox Tail” if that works.”
Her inbox blew up in seconds.
Riley skimmed through the messages quickly-she had to admit, after all the brutal elimination rounds in Region 8, most of the survivors still around knew how things worked. The cheaters and the leeches had been weeded out long ago, either during the earlier zombie rushes or cleared out in Nightfall’s purges.
The people left in this group chat, especially those sporting the “Brave and Unyielding” tag above their names, were generally solid -decent reputation and fair traders.
“I’ll take ten sharpening stones. Sending 55 coal your way-the extra’s a thanks.”
“Your leather looks good. Here, have a bottle of purified water on me.”:
Riley’s trading style was no-nonsense: fair rates, no scams, and every now and then she’d throw in a little bonus.
In under half an hour, she’d not only rounded up all the materials she needed but had also managed to pick up a batch of rare
medicinal herbs on the side.
“Materials are all set,” she muttered to herself.
Closing the chat window, Riley let out a slow breath.
She removed the “Unlucky Fool” title hovering above her head. Even thought gave a stat boost across the board, she’d always worried that the “Unlucky Fool” tag might mess with her crafting somehow. Better safe than sorry-she took it off for good
measure.

“Time to get to work.”
Riley pulled her goggles down and fired up the modified electric cutter.
“Bzzzzzt-”
Sparks scattered across the workbench.
Under her hands, the hardened refined iron turned pliable as clay, bending and shaping smoothly. The animal hide was sliced into ergonomic curves designed to fit the body.
Thanks to her renovation experience before everything went sideways, plus all the hands-on practice she’d gotten making tools in this new world, Riley’s craftsmanship-even without any system screen to confirm it-was definitely nothing to scoff at.

Chapter 131 The Dungeon Warning
She felt into a rhythm: hammering, fitting, assembling.

By around noon, with one final precise strike of her hammer, a brilliant blue glow erupted from the workbench.

Six pieces of gear lay neatly arranged on the bench, each radiating a soft, steady gleam.
Riley picked up the breastplate meant for her.
“Frostguard Chestplate
“Quality: Rare
“Stats: Constitution +4
“Special Effect: Frost Metal (Upon taking a melee hit, 10% chance to slow attacker’s movement by 20%)”
“Not bad,” she said, tapping the plating. It answered with a clean, metallic ring.
Without delay, she bundled up the other four pieces and sent them over to Pineapple Beer and TartKing.
“TartKing: !!!
