Immediately after, she tossed in several pieces of blue Rare gear from the forest and some extra low-level items.

“TartKing: Riley, what are you doing?”

“PineappleBeer: he’s power leveling the vault for contribution, isn’t she? We need Level 2 for the portals.”

“SpicyBurger: Caught me.”

“PineappleBeer: Heh. I’m in too. Let me dump some stuff.”

“TartKing: Me too!”

Soon, the vault was filled with Assassin skill books, superior daggers, and various weird alchemical ingredients.

In a heartbeat, the once-empty Guild Vault was overflowing with the combined wealth of the trio.

Night deepened as the snow continued its tireless wail across the frozen wastes.

Riley sat on her comfortable sofa, the glowing Guild panel floating before her.

As PineappleBeer and TartKing frantically stuffed items into the vault from their own shelters, the Guild XP bar began to rocket upward.

“Current Guild Experience: 4,950/5,000”

“Current Guild Experience: 4,980/5,000”

“Almost there.”

A few bottles of “Basic Antidote” appeared in the vault-PineappleBeer’s final contribution.

“Guild Experience: 5,000/5,000 (Level Up Available)”

“Finally.”

Riley pressed the golden upgrade button without a single second of hesitation.

“System: Consuming guild contribution…”

“Congratulations! Guild successfully upgraded to Lv. 2!”

“Member limit increased to: 50.”

“New structure unlocked: Guild Portal (Small).”

“Done.”

Riley quickly opened the new construction page.

“Description: Can only be built within Guild Territory. Max lireit: 3.”

Riley’s eyes lit up when she saw the material costs.

The “Portal Blueprint” she’d gotten from Nightshade required mana cores and rare space runes. This guild perk version was incredibly cheap by comparison!

The only catch was that it could only link to other Guild Territories and had a strict quantity limit.

But that was all she needed.

Currently, her guild’s territory consisted of her base, PineappleBeer’s, and TartKing’s.

Riley stood up and walked out into the courtyard.

She locked her gaze on an empty plot of land beside the sunroom; it was spacious and sheltered from the wind.

With a thought, the materials flew from her bag in streaks of light.

Hummm-

The ground trembled slightly.

Two circular stone altars, each about five feet in diameter, slowly rose from the earth.

They were crafted from ash-white bricks and carved with glowing blue magical runes. In the center of each altar sat a softly pulsing Mana Core.

They weren’t as grand as a major city portal, but the intricate rúnic style looked mysterious against the snow.

“Portal A (Unnamed) – Status: Pending Link”

“Portal B (Unnamed) – Status: Pending Link”

Riley opened the guild channel and typed rapidly.

“SpicyBurger: @PineappleBeer @TartKing, the portals are up. I’ve set your shelters as anchors. Confirm the link requests on your end and stand by.”

“PineappleBeer: That fast?!”

“TartKing: Copy that! Finally get to see the Riley’s house!”

A few minutes later.

The runes on both altars erupted with a brilliant blue radiance.

The air around them began to warp, emitting a low, resonant hum.

“Here they come.”
