Building My Empire in the Frozen Apocalypse (Riley Carter) novel Chapter 233

“Shut up, Zeta!”

NorthWind snapped his head around, silencing the boy with a sharp shout.

Zeta flinched and covered his mouth, but his gaze involuntarily drifted toward the camp’s warehouse.

Riley understood the situation instantly.

Greed was the only thing that moved people out here.

A bandit guild like WarWolf wouldn’t waste this much energy without knowing there was a top-tier prize inside.

However, Riley didn’t press him for details.

If that was their hard-earned loot, she had no interest in stealing it as long as they didn’t both her.

Besides, her own haul for the day was already plenty.

Riley waved them off. “Relax. I was just passing through and decided to help.”

She began sifting through the loot boxes dropped in the snow.

“I’m taking this.”

“This too.”

Riley picked through the items with a practiced eye.

It pained NorthWind to watch her, but he kept his smile in place. “By all means! You get first pick.”

Riley’s luck was holding up.

Inside the bag of the WarWolf mage, she found a pulsing green crystal.

Life Crystal.

“Perfect!” Riley whispered to herself.

Chapter 236 Propaganda War

The attached image was a visually striking photograph.

The background showed the Icefield Drifters Alliance camp across the canyon. The angle was clearly chosen with care; a dozen WarWolf members in dark red robes stood in formation outside, two snowmobiles parked regally at the front while the bruiser captain brandished his hammer toward the gate.

Honestly, the photo radiated raw intimidation.

Anyone unaware of the truth would think WarWolf was at the threshold of victory and the defenders were about to be slaughtered.

“WarWolf_Simp_01: Master is legendary! Those Drifter trash think they can steal our nodes? Know your place!”

“Random_Bystander: Holy crap, what are those black machines? Vehicles? That looks so cool!”

“WarWolf_PR: Those are our guild’s secret weapons-Heavy Snowmobiles! Top speed 50 mph! Want to run? No one escapes a WarWolf hunt! We’ll find you no matter how far you go!”

Riley looked at the photos of the snowmobiles and then glanced out her own window.

In her courtyard, two identical machines sat quietly in the snow. Little Tree was busy brushing frost off the chassis, preparing to build a connected garage next to the workshop.

Riley had been laughing at the fact that WarWolf’s squad was dead and their bikes were now hers, yet they were still bragging on the channel.

But on second thought, she understood the logic behind it.

This was a “PR War.”

WarWolf posted this partly for their own goals, but mostly to project power.

The photo was out; even if the squad was MIA, as long as the Drifters didn’t speak up, WarWolf had to act like everything was fine.

If the whole server knew they sent a dozen men to raid a tiny base and got counter-wiped like kittens, losing their most precious vehicles in the process…

How could WarWolf survive the embarrassment? Who would join them after that?

Chapter 233 Neighborly Relations

Riley took the package and checked the description.

Mixed Vegetable Seed Pack (Common)

Contains: Lettuce, Bok Choy, Carrots, and other cold-resistant crop seeds.

It wasn’t a legendary item, but it was a very practical gift.

“Thanks,” Riley said.

She didn’t stay humble and accepted it. “I could use some greens at home.”

Without another word, she turned and walked away.

NorthWind and his men watched her silhouette vanish into the rocks before letting out a lon breath.

“Boss… she’s terrifying,” Zeta whispered.

“She deleted that mage and the captain in seconds. How high is her attack stat?
