Burger, seriously, thank you so much.”

Riley waved it off with a casual smile. “Don’t be so formal with me. I don’t show up in public often, but if someone steals our guild’s resource node, I can’t just hide at home like a coward. This was a warning. Servers are merging lately, and if we don’t show our strength, everyone’s gonna think Hope Guild is easy prey.”

The two stayed on the platform and chatted for a little while longer.

Now that everything was fully settled, Riley checked the game system time. It was almost noon before she realized it.

“It’s about time. I need to head back.” Riley picked up her snowboard and stepped onto it again.

“Wait, Burger!” ToxicReaper quickly stopped her. He pointed toward a small nearby hill. “My camp’s right behind that ridge, just a short walk away. Since you’re already here, why not stop by? I upgraded my hearth a few days ago, and I’ve got plenty of high-quality coffee beans stored up.”

Riley politely turned down his warm invitation.

“Not today. I’ll come try your coffee some other time.” She glanced down at her snowboard and sighed lightly. “I have to get back to my original teleport coordinate. I left a one-time teleport anchor there, and I’ll be stuck out here if I miss it.”

Hearing that, ToxicReaper didn’t push her. Traveling across the map without a teleportation array was no joke. The trip was long and full of hidden dangers.

“Got it. Priorities first.”

ToxicReaper nodded. He then pulled several delicate glass bottles out of his inventory.

Thick red liquid sloshed inside each bottle. Unlike the common low-grade red potions sold on the market, these potions had a pure, vivid red hue and gave off a faint soft glow.

“Hold on, Burger. Take these.” ToxicReaper pressed the bottles firmly into Riley’s hands.

Riley looked down, and a system notification popped up instantly.

Riley’s eyes lit up.

These stats were far better than regular low-grade recovery potions. Even basic potions that restored two hundred HP sold for sky-high prices on the trade channel. For ToxicReaper to hand over multiple rare high-grade potions showed incredible generosity.

“I just perfected this new recipe recently.” ToxicReaper scratched his head and smiled shyly. “I brewed these with mutated red swamp berries and beast heart blood. The success rate is still pretty low, so this is all I’ve got for now.

“I don’t have many good items to give you. Keep these potions on hand. They might save your life someday.”

Riley didn’t hesitate to decline.

They were trusted allies. Being overly polite would only make things awkward.

“Alright, I’ll take them.” Riley stored the potions in her inventory without hesitation and gave him a thumbs-up. “Your crafting skills keep getting better. I’ve got high hopes for you.”

“Just get me the materials, and I’ll handle all the potions!”

“I’m off!”

Riley waved casually and headed out of the swamp.

She pushed off the ground with her legs. Her snowboard carved an arc along the swamp’s edge, gliding swiftly toward her previous route.

ToxicReaper stayed behind, adjusting his glasses while waving her goodbye.

Once she reached the teleport anchor, Riley activated it without delay.

Hum-

A familiar flash of white light washed over her. When she opened her eyes again, she was back in her own camp, the place she knew best.

Riley was about to walk toward the main house when the outside.
