Chapter 659 The Star Track Gatekeeper
The second the silver flames flared up, the three stone boxes sank straight into the ground.
The orbit map slipped out of Riley’s grip on its own and floated mid–air.
The glowing dots on the map stopped drifting aimlessly

A complete star track stretched out from the altar, weaving around several key nodes and pointing straight at the blurry door shaped outline in the distance. A thin bright line lit up along the door’s edge, like the map had finally recognized it as a legitimate passage.
fartking was just about to cheer.
‘We did it-”
She never finished her sentence. PineappleBeer suddenly doubled over, bracing her hands on her knees.
ler Gap Retreat Short Cloak fluttered wildly with no wind. The gray rune buckle on her clothes burned so hot the heat practically eeped through the fabric. Tiny silver–gray light scraps peeled off her shoulders, spun around her once, then got torn apart by ome invisible force.
Riley’s face dropped instantly.
Pine!”
artKing’s healing skills landed on her immediately.
ler Warm Feather Blessing Charm maxed out its brightness. The Vitality Silver Bell Wristband let out a clear chime. Layered green,
ale gold, and off–white light washed over PineappleBeer one after another.
ier HP bar was full.
ull vital stats looked normal.
‘et PineappleBeer’s fingers were already digging hard into her palms.
low, muffled groan escaped her throat. She refused to make a single loud sound, even through the pain.
‘It’s happening again.” TartKing’s eyes turned red with panic. “Heals aren’t working, and there’s nothing wrong with her status
bar!”
Riley grabbed PineappleBeer by the shoulders and pulled her behind her for protection.
PineappleBeer squeezed her eyes shut, cold sweat streaming down her forehead
“I saw… behind the door…”
Riley cut her off. “Don’t say it right now.”
It would do nothing good. It would only make her cling harder to those broken, fragmented visions.
But the dungeon gave them no time to catch their breath.

Chapter 650 The Star Track Gatekeeper
The silver flames on the central stone lamp suddenly shot upward.
A full armor silhouette materialized inside the fire. –

First the helmet, then the shoulder plates, followed by the chest armor and a long blade hanging at its side. This figure towered taller than any Starlight Armor Figure they’d seen. Fine star lines flowed across its armor surface, and a silver core embedded in the center of its chest pulsed slowly opening and closing like a blinking eye.
A system prompt popped up in front of all three players.
Star Track Gatekeeper]
Level ???]
Description: Floor 19’s core node guardian. Defeat it to unlock the subsequent star track passage.]
TartKing tightened her grip on her staff, her voice tight with tension.
‘A question mark for a level?”
Riley shoved PineappleBeer back behind TartKing.
‘Stay sharp.”
The Star Track Gatekeeper took one step out of the flames.
t made no sound as it moved.
ts long blade dragged across the silver lines on the ground. The newly stabilized star tracks twisted to life under its pull, extending traight toward the three of them.
Riley reacted the fastest. She crossed her Storm Splitter Dual Axes and slashed down hard, cutting straight into one of the glowing silver lines.
The line didn’t break, but it shifted sideways an entire inch.
That tiny shift bought TartKing just enough time to drag PineappleBeer back out of harm’s way.
The next second, the long blade sliced down exactly where Riley had been standing.
A thin crack split the black stone platform. No rubble spilled out–only bright silver light seeped up from the gap.
A heavy weight pressed down on Riley’s shoulders.
The blade never touched her, but the star track’s traction latched onto her calf. It felt like a hand grabbing her ankle from under the stone, trying to yank her straight into the blade’s path.
She flipped one hand backward and drove a Rime Halt Spike into the ground right beside her feet.
Frost burst outward, temporarily freezing the silver lines under her feet.
The pulling force vanished. Riley pushed off the ground and darted forward, swinging both axes toward the Gatekeeper’s chest
core.

The Gatekeeper didn’t block head–on.
It slid backward along the silver fines, moving way faster than any normal mob could

One of Riley’s swings missed completely. The second axe grazed its shoulder armor, only knocking loose a spray of silver starlight sparks.
Tartking propped PineappleBeer against one of the stone pillars and swapped her weapon to her Frosted Judgment Greatsword.
The moment the heavy sword settled in her hands, her whole body sank slightly. Her boots scraped half an inch into the black stone platform from the weight.
