Riley’s Star–Breaker Gauntlets locked her grip tight, their steady–wrist stat nullifying the recoil damage. She pressed one axe down on the enemy’s shield and swept the other horizontally at his knees.
The shield bearer’s knee armor flared up, blocking the blow.
Riley’s expression didn’t shift. She activated Mountain–Shatter Step, stomping hard right beside his feet.
The stone ground cracked open.
The man’s balance wobbled sharply.
TartKing’s fireball flew past Riley’s shoulder and slammed dead–center on the closed–eye engraving on the shield.
The pattern flickered and dimmed for a moment.
She followed up instantly with her Frosted Judgment Greatsword, slamming the blade hard into the shield’s edge with both hands.
Riley charged into the opening with her shoulder. Her Earthen Ward absorbed the shield’s counter force, and she swung her Storm Splitter Dual Axes downward in a tight, close strike.
Two deep gashes split open the shield bearer’s chest armor.
A huge chunk of his health dropped, and his face went pale in an instant.
The dark–blue cloaked mages nearby immediately switched targets, locking all their skills onto Riley.
Three abilities rushed toward her at once.
TartKing raised her staff. Her Radiant Prayer Crown lit up, casting a group heal on Riley first, then refreshing her own HP. She stacked a small barrier, gritted her teeth and blocked an incoming wind blade with her greatsword. Riley deflected the second attack with her axe blade and took the third hit straight on her shoulder.
Less than 20 percent of Riley’s health faded.
She didn’t slow down at all. She spun her axes backward, unleashing Cyclone Gale to force back the spearman closing in from the side.

She nearly got caught by skill splash damage several times, only saved twice by the barrier from her Froststar Battle Prayer Gloves. Still, she never fell behind, swapping between heals, fireballs, sword slams, and cleanse buffs faster and faster.
From Floor 16 to Floor 19, she’d always been the team’s main healer.
But in this fight, pure healing wouldn’t keep her alive.
She had to attack to defend, using constant offensive pressure to buy herself casting time.
Riley split another enemy line open with her axe and glanced back at her.
“You still good?”
TartKing’s lips were pale, but her eyes stayed bright and determined.
“I’m good.”
She downed half a mana recovery potion right after speaking.
“Right side incoming.”
TartKing instantly swapped to her greatsword.
The two of them turned as one.
The reddish–brown heavy armor squad was closing in.
They’d been holding the platform’s left side earlier, but now that Riley and TartKing tried cutting toward the center flank, two of them broke off to intercept.
One wielded a warhammer, the other a tower shield.
Riley clashed head–on with the hammer user.
This enemy’s strength stat was absurdly high. His hammer strike landed with such force that Riley’s Crimson Recoil couldn’t fully negate the impact. She stepped back half a pace, her heel crushing a shard of stone under the pressure.
Her gaze turned cold.
This man’s raw power matched her own.

Riley slashed one axe upward along the hammer’s shaft while swinging the other straight for his wrist.
The hammer user pulled back fast. The shield bearer moved in to cover his spot, slamming his shield toward Riley’s chest.
TartKing darted in to block for her.
She planted her Frosted Judgment Greatsword vertically to take the hit.
Boom!
The impact sent her sliding backward, her arm nearly giving out from the strain.
Her barrier shattered instantly, and her Warm Feather Blessing Charm activated automatically, numbing the worst of the pain. She bit down hard, refusing to let go of her sword.
Using the tiny opening TartKing bought her, Riley rushed to the hammer user’s side and landed three consecutive axe strikes on the exact same spot.
The first blow shattered his defensive aura.
The second cracked his heavy armor.
The third drew fresh blood.
The hammer user’s face darkened. He swept his hammer handle backward, aiming for Riley’s head.
Riley ducked under the swing.
She was about to press the attack when a burst of chaotic light exploded in the center of the battlefield.
Pineapple Beer was surrounded.
Four enemies closed in on her from all directions: the black sword man, the silver–gray light armor woman, one reddish–brown heavy shield user, and a black–cloaked assassin.
They pressed her relentlessly from every angle.
The black sword man charged head–on to engage her.
The silver–gray armored woman used her formation plate to trap her shadow.

The heavy shield user forced her to keep shifting positions with constant shield pressure.
The black–cloaked assassin waited for openings, targeting the crystal core nonstop.
Even Riley would’ve struggled to hold out against this coordinated siege.
But Pineapple Beer didn’t show the slightest sign of falling behind.
She parried the black sword’s strike with her dagger. The moment their blades locked, she leaned backward sharply, feigning a forced retreat. The heavy shield user immediately advanced, slamming his shield toward her back.
A second layer of shadow surfaced behind PineappleBeer out of nowhere.
The shadow twisted around and took the full shield blast for her.
Using the backward momentum, PineappleBeer slid low across the ground, driving her short blade straight for the assassin’s wrist.
