Bye-bye Trash! Hello Queen! novel Chapter 1029

Maxwell Griffith said, "Don't worryโ€”"

Bang! Bang! Bang!

Before he could finish his sentence, a loud, forceful knocking echoed from the door.

They both jumped in surprise.

Joanna knew instantly it was Mr. Wilsonโ€™s goons.

It seemed the old man was awake. She had already anticipated the moves he would make.

A murderous glint flickered in Joanna's eyes as she picked up her phone and called the police.

She had thoroughly investigated Mr. Wilson's background long ago.

She knew he had connections to the underworld and that, when cornered, he would try to take everyone down with him.

Sure enough, they had arrived quickly.

After giving the dispatcher her address, Joanna hung up.

Then, she called Mr. Wilson.

As she expected, Mr. Wilson answered almost instantly.

"Hello! Joanna, you bitch! You dared to trick me, get me infected with a disease, and now you want to swallow my company? Dream on! I'll make you wish you were dead."

"It's too late to call me and beg for mercy now. I'm going to make you die in the most brutal way possible."

Mr. Wilson's voice was incredibly arrogant.

He thought Joanna was calling to beg.

"Pfft..." Joanna couldn't help but laugh at his words.

"Joanna, what are you laughing at?" Mr. Wilson's tone instantly became wary.

Joanna's voice was laced with laughter, arrogant and vicious.

"Joanna, you wouldn't dare!" Mr. Wilson screamed.

Joanna glanced at the door. "Don't hang up, Mr. Wilson. I want you to hear your son being arrested with your own ears. Hear that knocking? I'm so scared."

"Joanna, you dare! I'll make you suffer a living hell!" Mr. Wilson's blood pressure shot up.

He gasped for breath, trying to suppress the fury in his heart to keep from passing out.

Joanna just smiled and looked at Maxwell Griffith. "Maxwell, go wait for me in the bedroom. I'll handle the rest."

Maxwell Griffith looked at her with concern. "Joanna..."

Joanna said, "Don't worry. Getting a little roughed up is unavoidable."

Maxwell Griffith saw that the door was about to be broken down and whispered, "Okay! Be careful."
