Luna had feelings for him!
He was overjoyed!
He was going to have a wife!
He would never let Luna down!
Hearing his sobs, Sebastian looked at him, puzzled. “What are you crying about?”
Sean sniffled. “Boss, I’m so touched. The madam has always thought I’m a good man. And Luna is waiting for me. Boss, let’s speed up the plan. I’m afraid my wife will get away.”
Sebastian was speechless.
“What’s the situation with Nora?” he asked in a low voice.
Sean’s expression turned cold. “Our people have been keeping an eye on things. Joanna is very clever. She doctored the contracts she signed with the Wilson family before. When the assets were investigated, it all became the Wilson family’s fault. They came out of it clean, only having to forfeit the illegal gains, but they still suffered heavy losses.”
Sebastian’s hands, resting on his lap, tightened slightly, his gaze as deep and cold as water. “Give the evidence of Nora’s crimes to the police. She dodged this bullet, so let’s make her spend New Year’s Eve in a jail cell.”
Sean was even more excited. They could finally close the net on Nora. “Yes, yes, boss! I’ll go report her immediately.”
“Good.”
He looked back at the diligently working Natalie. This was the only way he could see how brilliant she was.
It was usually so hard to even get a glimpse of her. These past few days, he had watched her handle the company’s affairs in an orderly and efficient manner.

After seeing the investigators off, Nora was ecstatic. Everything was resolved. She could go home for the New Year with a clear conscience.
She stood in the snow and called Joanna.
The call connected quickly, and her voice was trembling with excitement. “Miss, the investigators have left. Everything’s been taken care of.”
That incident had been because of Marshall. To get him sent to prison, she had Nora buy the illegal items and plant them in Marshall’s club. But Natalie had saved Marshall in the end.
And the matter had been swept under the rug.
She had made sure the amount Nora bought was within a controllable limit.
Could Nora have done something behind her back?
Joanna, who had just returned home, shot to her feet, her eyes blazing with fury. Nora was her right-hand woman; she couldn’t afford to lose her.
But with a crime like this, if the quantity was too high, even she couldn't get Nora out.
Joanna walked to the window. This was another one of her residences. She lived alone and preferred apartments to villas.
She stared out at the wind and snow, her dark eyes as cold and hard as ancient ice.
Maxwell Griffith emerged from the bathroom, walked up behind her, and seeing her unhappy, wrapped his arms around her. “Joanna, what’s wrong?”
