Bye-bye Trash! Hello Queen! novel Chapter 1180

Natalie extended a warm invitation. "Then you should stay for dinner at my place tomorrow night, Matthew."

A spark flickered in Matthew's eyes. She wasn't staying at her family's house. He had driven past it last night and seen the lights on, but he knew she was actually staying in the house Sebastian used to live in.

Hearing her say she was going 'home' and inviting him over filled him with a surge of joy.

"I'd love to," he replied, his voice heavy with anticipation.

Meanwhile, Sean pushed Sebastian's wheelchair out of the restaurant, just in time to see Natalie and Matthew's retreating figures fading into the distance.

Sebastian was seething. Watching them together enraged him beyond words.

Sean felt the suffocating, dangerous aura radiating from his boss and wisely kept his mouth shut.

Watching the woman you loved laugh and joke with another man was pure torture.

Lowering his gaze, Sean asked quietly, "Should we head back, Boss?"

Sebastian's eyes remained locked on the spot where Natalie and Matthew had disappeared into the bustling crowd.

Closing his eyes, he murmured, "Let's go. Accelerate the plans. Dig deeper into the M Organization. I want to know exactly who Timothy Griffith and Maxwell Griffith really are. Once I find my mother and my real father, I'm locking Joanna and Maxwell away for good."

He refused to let Matthew keep circling his wife.

Sean practically vibrated with excitement. "Yes, Boss. I've been tracking them closely. Timothy finally gave us an opening. Our surveillance team is just waiting for them to make a move."

"The second they act, we'll uncover their true identities."

Sebastian gave a curt nod. "Good."

...

The following day marked the official groundbreaking for the new construction site.

Joanna was ecstatic. Watching the heavy machinery roar to life and the workers bustling around the site, a triumphant smile spread across her face.

A convoy of official vehicles screeched to a halt, and a team of stern-faced officials in uniform poured out.

Joanna watched in absolute horror. As the shock wore off, she heard a worker yell, "It's not just ruins! There are catacombs down there!"

Her jaw dropped, her body freezing as if she had been struck by lightning.

Eyes wide with disbelief, she stared at the chaotic scene unfolding before her.

This site was the foundation of her future, the project she had poured every last drop of her resources into.

And now they had dug up historic ruins. The land couldn't be developed, meaning she was going to lose absolutely everything.

A suffocating wave of despair crashed over her, dragging her under. The color drained from her face, her lips trembling uncontrollably. Her hands curled into tight fists, her nails digging into her palms.

"How is this happening? How could this happen!" she shrieked in agony, tears welling in her eyes. This absolute disaster had never appeared in her prophetic dream!
