Bye-bye Trash! Hello Queen! novel Chapter 390

Wendy sat in her office, tears streaming down her face.

This was how Jared had treated Natalie. Now, she wanted him to experience that same pain.

Joanna wanted to be on top of the world? Fine. She would lift her up, and then, when the truth about her mother being a mistress was exposed, she would let her fall from the dazzling heights into the abyss.

She would repay every bit of suffering her Natalie had endured.

Natalie’s heart had been shattered and had grown cold, likely beyond warming in this lifetime.

Her greatest regret in this life was that she had never once believed her own daughter.

Wendy was in agony. Looking at the thick, dark clouds outside, she knew it was about to rain.

Today, another part of her plan was complete.

“Natalie, just wait a little longer. Mom will definitely get revenge for you.”

Wendy looked out the window with teary eyes. It was a gloomy, rainy day. Winter had arrived, and Nathan had gone to see that woman again. Looking at the photos from the private investigator, her heart turned even colder.

After leaving, Sebastian went to find Julian, who had just returned from a trip abroad.

Julian, fresh out of the shower, was surprised to see Sebastian.

“What are you doing here?” Julian glanced at the door. “You didn’t bring Joanna with you?”

Sebastian frowned. “Why would you think I’d bring her?”

Julian looked at him with a half-smile. “Haven’t you two been inseparable since she came back? You take her everywhere you go.”

Sebastian managed a small smile. “After so many years together, I was indeed good to her. But the little things she’s been doing behind my back have really started to wear on me.”

Julian chuckled, not believing a word. “Alright, I’ll pretend you’re serious. Come on in.”

It was just that his upbringing had left him ignorant of love.

Growing up in that kind of environment, it was actually surprising that he could be so good to Joanna.

But after a few interactions with Joanna, Julian had found her incredibly dull. The woman was too good at putting on an act, yet Sebastian was smitten.

“I still prefer a girl like Natalie,” Julian said with a meaningful smile. For no other reason than she was beautiful.

Sebastian shot him a cold look.

Julian just smiled and said nothing.

Sebastian picked up the bottle himself, poured another glass, and finally voiced his troubles. “Natalie really wants to divorce me this time.”

Julian laughed. “Looking at your unwilling face, isn’t a divorce what you’ve always wanted?”
