Bye-bye Trash! Hello Queen! novel Chapter 404

The hall was in an uproar, buzzing with discussion.

Mrs. Scott Sr. and Mr. Scott Sr. were both ashamed and furious. They wished they could find a hole to hide in. Listening to the gossip, the elderly couple was filled with resentment but didn't dare say a word.

They couldn't bear the humiliation.

Jared, having composed himself, suppressed the intense anger in his heart and addressed the guests. “To all our friends and family, today’s wedding is canceled. Your gifts will be returned shortly. Lunch has been prepared next door, so please proceed there to eat.”

When Monica heard the wedding was off, she exploded with rage. “Jared, is this all your love for me amounts to? So what if I’ve been married and have a child? Did you love me for my past?”

“You told me you loved me every day, but the moment you find out I’ve been married before, you don’t love me anymore? Your love is so cheap! You’re no different from all those other scumbags. Fine, cancel it! I can find someone better without you.”

Before Jared could respond, Monica ran off.

Jared chased after her. He had to get back the money he gave her.

He couldn’t let that woman run off with his money.

Natalie and Susan stood up. The show was over, and it was time for them to leave.

But Joanna blocked their path, her face a mask of fury.

When Nathan saw Natalie, his anger flared. “Natalie, are you happy now that you’ve ruined Jared’s wedding?”

Natalie met his gaze with icy eyes. “Did I ruin it? Is there something wrong with your eyes, or are you just sick in the head? Why is it that every time you see me, you blame me for everything?”

Nathan was speechless with rage. “What kind of attitude is that? Is that any way to speak to me?”

Susan laughed, a genuine smile gracing her lips as she looked at his face, purple with rage. “Actually, I should thank your son. If he hadn’t wrongly accused me every single time, I might have kept on liking him.”

“But after seeing his true colors, I’m grateful he doesn’t like me. I’ll meet someone better in the future, and my future father-in-law will be nothing like you.”

“And for the record, I’m wonderful and I’m talented. It’s your son who isn’t good enough for me.”

“You…” Nathan’s vision went dark with fury, and he stumbled back a few steps.

“Susan, you ruined my brother’s wedding and you’re still acting so self-righteous.” Joanna’s face was dark with anger.

Monica couldn’t hold on to Jared’s heart. If Jared managed to pull himself together, she’d have another enemy on her hands.

Susan took a step back in disgust. “Don’t talk to me. You make me sick. Your breath is so foul, did you forget to brush your teeth this morning?”
