Bye-bye Trash! Hello Queen! novel Chapter 406

Susan flinched and ducked behind Natalie.

Her words had been satisfying, but she was still afraid of Sebastian. His eyes were chilling.

Natalie stepped in front of Susan, blocking Sebastian’s view. “If you have a problem, take it up with me. Don’t you dare hurt Susan.”

“In your eyes, am I the kind of person who would hurt others so casually?”

Sebastian couldn’t help but ask. What did Natalie really think of him?

“You casually hurt me, your own wife. Why would anyone else be off-limits?”

Sebastian looked at her deeply. “I was wrong about what happened before…”

“Do you think a simple ‘I was wrong’ can undo all the pain you’ve caused me?” Natalie stared at him, her gaze crystal clear.

Feeling a pang of guilt, Sebastian released her hand. His own arm was injured, and he winced slightly.

Natalie noticed. He was hurt.

She glanced at Sebastian’s arm. As a doctor, she could smell the faint scent of blood.

Just like in her past life. He had been establishing his own power base overseas, and this trip was likely to solidify control over those people. He had come back injured.

He was too powerful. She couldn't fight him, so she would just avoid him.

Sebastian saw her looking. Did she know he was hurt?

“Natalie, I’ll make up for the pain I caused you in the past,” he said, his voice much softer.

Natalie shook her head, rejecting him word by word. “I don’t want your compensation, and you don’t deserve to give it! Why would I pick up a man who’s already been sullied? You and Joanna are a perfect match. I’m begging you two, please just stay together.”

With that, Natalie pulled Susan away.

She truly despised Sebastian now.

“Let’s go to the office.” Sebastian walked toward the car parked by the road.

As he reached the door, Sebastian turned to Sean again. “Have you found that man yet?”

Sean shook his head. “No, we lost all traces of him. I’m starting to wonder if those photos were faked, sent by Joanna to Ms. Sanders on purpose to drive a wedge between you.”

Sebastian frowned. The man in the photo looked identical to him. If he hadn’t seen the pictures on Natalie’s phone, he would have continued to believe Joanna.

“Then we’ll wait for six months,” Sebastian said. He wanted to know if what Natalie said was true.

“Sebastian.” Joanna ran out, looking aggrieved as she approached him. “Sebastian, are you leaving?”

“Yes.” Sebastian gave a faint nod.

“Sebastian, Natalie and Susan orchestrated everything today. Poor Jared’s wedding… ruined just like that.”

Sean couldn’t help but chime in, “Heh… Ms. Scott, you’re mistaken. Jared wasn’t ruined. He got what he deserved.”
