Bye-bye Trash! Hello Queen! novel Chapter 742

She couldn't escape. Finally seizing an opportunity, Natalie bit down hard on Sebastian's lip.

"Hiss..."

Sebastian winced in pain and pulled back. His lip was already swelling and turning red. Seeing Natalie's own eyes flushed with anger, he smirked, his voice dangerously seductive. "Natalie, you're my wife. Are you refusing to perform your spousal duties?"

Natalie wiped her mouth forcefully, her eyes full of disgust. "Joanna's pregnant and can't satisfy you, so now you're coming after me? You're a real cheater. You want me to fulfill my duties? Dream on."

She quickly scrambled off the bed, putting a safe distance between them.

The charged atmosphere was instantly shattered by her words.

Sebastian's expression turned cold. Seeing her look of revulsion wounded him, and his handsome face darkened. "The baby is Robert's, Natalie. Haven't you been reading the news?"

Natalie stared at his swollen lip, where a thin line of blood was beginning to form. With his dark, brooding eyes, he looked both broken and dangerously beautiful.

She sat on the carpet, yelling furiously, "What's the point of reading the news? Everyone knows about you two. Even I, the official wife, know how much you care about your little mistress. Now that she's pregnant, after you've wasted so many of her years, are you going to waste your child's time too?"

Natalie was trembling with rage.

He wanted her to perform her spousal duties? He could forget it.

Sebastian frowned, staring at her intently. So this was what it felt like not to be believed. It was agonizing.

Before, he had been the one who refused to believe Natalie, who wouldn't even listen to her explanations.

Now, she not only refused to believe him but also refused to listen. So this was the kind of helpless, frustrating feeling it created.

Tomorrow, she needed to buy some stocks. She remembered there was a company whose shares were about to soar.

Forgetting about Sebastian, Natalie picked up her phone and called Marshall.

"Natalie, calling me at this hour? Miss me?" Marshall's voice was teasing but warm and pleasant.

Natalie knew he always liked to joke around. "Marshall, remember how I said I'd help you invest in stocks? Let's do it tomorrow. Just remember, you have to sell them three days later. I'm putting in two hundred million. You can decide how much you want to invest."

Marshall was shocked. "Natalie, two hundred million dollars all at once? What if you lose everything?"

Natalie rolled her eyes, insulted. "Someone once boldly bought two billion dollars of a single stock. I'm just buying two hundred million. It's not a big deal. I'll pick you up at 9 a.m. tomorrow. Are you in or out?"
