Bye-bye Trash! Hello Queen! novel Chapter 775

Sebastian gave him a cold look, his voice flat and emotionless. “Julian, you need to learn to respect people. Don't talk about Natalie like that again. She's an amazing person. You just don't know her yet, but you will.”

He had neglected her for so long, never bothering to truly understand her.

Now that he had set aside his preconceptions and made an effort, he was beginning to see how exceptional she was.

Meanwhile, the once-perfect Joanna had become unrecognizable in his eyes.

Julian looked at Sebastian's serious expression and smiled. “I don't really know her, so whether she's amazing or not has nothing to do with me. But if you say not to talk about her, I won't.”

Sebastian knew that was how it would be. In some ways, Julian was very stubborn. As long as he didn't run his mouth, that was enough.

“Good. Also, the baby Joanna is carrying isn't mine. I've done all I can for her. And please keep it a secret that I'm living here. If you have work to discuss, don't come here. I don't want anyone disturbing my wife and me.”

The words were formal, creating a distance between him and Julian.

Julian's eyes flickered, a storm of shock raging within him. He studied Sebastian for a long moment, then said nothing, simply smiling as he left.

Sebastian turned and went to the kitchen to wait for Natalie to come down so they could make dinner together.

Natalie was hungry, so after changing into some comfortable clothes, she came downstairs to start cooking.

She was surprised to see Sebastian there. “What are you doing here?”

Sebastian's dark eyes were soft. Seeing her confused look, he seemed a bit awkward. “I'll cook with you. Just tell me what to do.”

Natalie was taken aback.

She looked at him and asked with a smirk, “Are you serious?”

Sebastian was very serious. “Yes!”

He just wanted to help, but seeing her dismissive smile, he knew she was about to refuse him.

Sure enough, in the next moment, he heard her rejection.

She had been willing to do anything for the man she loved, only to realize later that he never needed it.

“Dinner's ready,” she called out, her eyes gleaming.

Sebastian replied, “Okay!”

He went in to help set the table, and soon the three dishes and a soup were served. They ate in their own worlds.

The food had that familiar, delicious taste. Sebastian ate two helpings of rice; the braised ribs were fragrant and went perfectly with it.

After he finished eating, Sebastian looked up at Natalie. She really wasn't focused on him anymore.

In the past, when they ate together, she would never look at her phone. She cherished every second she had with him.

Now, she would take a bite of rice, then look down to reply to a message.
