Natalie grabbed her things and walked out.
Sebastian watched her retreating back, feeling utterly helpless.
He gave a bitter smile. Perhaps this was what he deserved. A person like him never deserved to be loved.
Sebastian snapped the card in his hand.
He closed his eyes in anguish as a sharp pain washed over him.
"Sir, it's time for the morning meeting," Sean called from the doorway.
Sebastian's voice was heavy. "Okay."
While Sebastian went to work, Natalie found Zenobia and Susan to go have some fun.
Today, they decided to play games at the arcade on the fifth floor. Zenobia bought an all-access pass, and the three of them had a great time.
Two hours later, Natalie went to the dance zone. A few young guys were breakdancing there.
Zenobia nudged Natalie. "Natalie, go on! This is your favorite."
Natalie handed her phone over, her interest piqued. She knew how to dance. "Hold this for me. I'm going in for a round."
Zenobia was thrilled. "Go, go! I haven't seen you dance in ages. I'm dying to see you breakdance."
Natalie saw several young men and women dancing on the floor. She quickly took off her jacket, revealing a white, form-fitting long-sleeved shirt and black wide-leg pants, perfect for dancing.
As she stepped onto the floor, Zenobia and Susan took out their phones to record.
Next, they faced each other, their shoulders popping in perfect rhythm. Natalie's head moved fluidly with the beat, her long hair flying wildly. The boy suddenly slid forward, leaned down with his hands on the floor, and swung his legs in a graceful arc before landing steadily and reaching out to pull Natalie in.
Together, they launched into a dazzling series of floor moves, their hands moving in a rapid blur as their bodies weaved like nimble snakes. After a powerful rise, the boy's core engaged, sending his body into a rapid spin, each turn landing perfectly on the beat. Natalie matched him, her feet stepping in a quick, intricate pattern, their eyes meeting with perfect understanding.
Following an intense sequence, they performed a difficult aerial Thomas flare, drawing gasps and cheers of amazement from the crowd.
Natalie stopped, looking at the boy in front of her.
He smiled back. "Wow, you're an amazing dancer!"
Natalie smiled. "You're really good too. Can I get your number?"
Just as Natalie was considering it, a familiar figure stepped in front of her. "Sorry, my wife doesn't give her number to strangers."
