Bye-bye Trash! Hello Queen! novel Chapter 920

“Sean is awake, but he still has a fever. That kid is pretty weak. You should get him to exercise more.”

“Luna is healthier than he is. All her levels are normal, but he’s got a fatty liver.”

Natalie raised an eyebrow and smiled at him. “Okay, Herbert. So where’s my breakfast?”

She was running on fumes, her stomach giving a treacherous growl that demanded her immediate attention.

Just as she thought, skipping one meal left her ravenous.

Herbert pulled a large breakfast burrito from his bag. “Here you go, your favorite. I kept it warm in my bag for you. It’s still hot.”

Natalie looked at it with a hint of disdain. “Herbert, couldn’t you have put it in an insulated container? Why was it in your pocket?”

“Hey, don’t look so disgusted. I was afraid it would get cold and not taste good. It’s made with rice, and if it got cold, it would be hard on your stomach.”

“Besides, I just put on this clean coat today. Look at you, all picky.”

Herbert smiled affectionately and tapped her on the forehead. He took an insulated flask from the nearby windowsill and poured her a cup of warm water.

“Drink some warm tea first; it’ll settle your stomach before you dive into that breakfast.”

Natalie finally smiled and took the cup. After drinking the water, she started on the burrito.

It was delicious from the first bite.

“Herbert, you know me best. It’s got a fried egg, hash browns, and some peanuts. It’s so good.”

Herbert saw her knowing expression and grinned. “I know, I know. If I had a woman I loved, I’d be thinking about her 24/7.”

He really did want to be in a relationship.

Unfortunately, the little genius in front of him only saw him as a brother.

“Natalie, the woman I fall in love with will be the center of my world. Her kindness and gentleness will be my safe harbor. No matter what storms I face out there, just thinking of her will bring me peace.”

Natalie saw the hopeful look in his eyes and smiled. “Herbert, I hope you find her soon.”

She handed him the capsule for Susan. “Go on, take this to Susan.”
