The moment Aurora walked in, everyone's gaze landed on her.
Shock registered on Sydney's face when she saw the familiar-looking face. Wesley looked as shocked as Sydney was.
However, they both knew that Aurora merely looked like Rosalie, and wasn't really Rosalie.
Rebecca was taking a nap on the couch.
Theodore walked over, bent forward, and said, "Grandma, Rose is here."
The mention of Rosalie's nickname made Rebecca immediately look up, only to see an achingly familiar face.
Rebecca was stunned for a moment, then a look of doubt flashed past her eyes. She could sense that something was off.
Everyone quieted down.
Did Rebecca suddenly become alert?
"Grandma, didn't you ask to see Rose? Look, Rose is here," Theodore spoke up again.
"Oh, Rose. You're all grown up," Rebecca said as she stretched a hand out. "Let me look at you."
Aurora felt a little nervous as she glanced at Theodore. Theodore nodded back at her, and shot her a reassuring look.
Aurora mustered up the courage to go to Rebecca's bedside and sat down. She said sweetly, "Grandma, I'm here to see you."
"Oh, this is great! It's really you, Rose."
Rebecca lifted a hand, and caressed her cheek. "You've grown so much since the last time I saw you. I almost can't recognize you."
Aurora smiled. "Perhaps because I've been eating very well recently. Sorry, Grandma, for not coming to visit you for so long."
"You children are all busy with your own lives, it's fine. I feel relieved seeing all of you safe and sound. Oh yes, you're in university now, right?"
Aurora nodded. "Yes, I am."
"Great. Theo, come over," Rebecca waved a hand at Theodore.
Theodore walked over. "What's the matter, Grandma?"
Rebecca exclaimed, "What are you doing just standing there? Quick, sit down next to Rose."
"Mom, head back to your room and rest then," Sydney said as she approached Rebecca and helped her up. "I'll bring you there."
Rebecca headed back to her room under Sydney's lead.
Before they left the room, Rebecca turned back to look at Theodore and Aurora once more.
"You two must stay together and be well, got that?"
Theodore nodded as he reached out to hold Aurora's hand.
"We will."
Aurora's heart raced, feeling as though she was about to cry. She turned to look at Theodore, her heart thumping.
Despite knowing that Theodore was holding her hand for Grandma's sake and it was just an act, she couldn't help but feel a surge of joy.
She was pretending to be his ex-wife and standing so close to him.
As it turned out, being in love could make one happy over the littlest things.

The readers' comments on the novel: Chasing My Pregnant Wife (Rosalie and Theodore)
Why aren't u updating......
Unrealistic. What a comedy. If Sebastian and Rosalie are cousins, their families must have already prevented them to be together abroad. Isn't it bizarre that nobody is doing something to let them know of their family relationship? And pls stop putting Aurora in a high pedestal. Your readers want Rosalie to be genuinely happy, free of stupid misunderstanding. Thank you....
Another garbled story with lots of gibberish. Absolute rubbish. I got to chapter 26 and can't anymore...
Too many people involve.. sigh~ this is like the most angst novel i've read.....
I just wish one thing...that the writer will not bring too many unnecessary and unrealistic twists, too many misunderstanding, miscommunication that gives the reader the hint not to continue with the novel. In the long run, We lost our interest in this kind of unending plot....
Thanks for the update !...
