Claimed By The Mafia Rogue King (Snow and Cupid) novel Chapter 202

Snowflakes

The weather was good at first, until the cold intensified, and I had no choice but to cling to Cupid more for warmth. He sensed it immediately, wrapping his strong arms around my waist, pulling me closer against his solid frame.

“Let’s get you to bed,” he murmured softly, voice low and caring.

Before I could protest, he lifted me easily, as though I weighed nothing more than a feather and carried me back inside.

He crossed the path into the bedroom and laid me on the bed with the utmost tenderness.

“I’ll get you your dinner,” he said. “You should eat and take your meds.”

He made to walk away, but I caught his wrist and pulled him gently down onto the bed with me.

“Maybe I don’t need my meds tonight,” I murmured softly, my palm sliding up to rest on his chest, feeling the steady beat of his heart beneath.

When I leaned closer to kiss him, he seemed to understand where this was heading. He pulled back slowly, eyes dark with restraint.

“You have to take your meds,” he whispered. “To stop the triggers. Let me…”

He tried to rise, but I tightened my hold, searching his eyes.

“Cupid, make love to…”

“No,” he cut me off gently before I could finish. I swallowed hard. “You’re still healing. I’m not going to wear you out.”

“That’s not wearing someone out,” I whispered in confusion, leaning in again to brush my lips against his. “Why would you think of it like that?”

He stayed still, allowing the brief kiss before pulling back tenderly. His eyes were heavy with lust, but he held himself together, barely.

“Not tonight, Snow,” he said softly. “You need rest.”

With that tone, I knew it was final.

I nodded, releasing him almost angrily.

“Please let me skip dinner and the meds tonight. I’m tired. I’ll just sleep.”

I lay back down, pulling the bed coverlet over me. I closed my eyes, pretending but I could feel his gaze lingering on me. I knew he sensed my frustration over his gentle rejection.

A few minutes later, I felt him rise from the bed and leave the room. I opened my eyes to watch his retreating back, wondering where he was going.

It didn’t take long before he returned. I lay back down, feigning sleep. He slipped into the bed beside me, settling his head on the pillow next to mine, and gently reached for me, pulling me into his arms.

I rested my head on his arm, looking up at him after a while. Then I let my palm slide down his trousers, feeling his hard length. I rubbed gently, gleeful that he allowed it.

I stroked him until he grew even harder, jerking softly until he turned me tenderly so my back faced him.

Suddenly, he pulled out and shifted lower, mouth descending to my clit. My head fell back as I threaded fingers through his hair, holding him there while he licked and sucked. tongue swirling, drawing shivers of ecstasy from me.

Then he rose again, spreading my thighs wider as he drove back in deeper, fuller. I trembled as he thrust, building to a perfect crescendo until I whimpered, clinging to him for dear life.

When climax claimed him, he buried himself to the hilt, pulsing hot inside me. I dug my fingers into his shoulders, overwhelmed by the waves of emotion crashing over us.

He growled low as he released, then stilled, gathering himself.

After, he lay back down beside me, pulling me into his embrace.

“I’m sure no other woman will ever taste like you, Snow,” he confessed rawly, arms tightening around me. “I’m afraid I won’t be able to be with anyone but you.”

I wanted to tell him the same went for me, that no other man would ever compare to him, that he had ruined me for anyone else in the most beautiful way but the more I tried to form the words, the heavier my eyelids grew.

An irresistible pull dragged me under, as though something deep inside was calling for a slumber I couldn’t resist or control.

However, before I fell into deep peaceful sleep I found myself saying softly to him.

“Don’t be mad at your dad too much, Cupid. He definitely means well. Just like mine.”

I drifted into deep, peaceful sleep, cradled safely in his arms.
