“What did you just say?” He asked quietly, his voice barely above a whisper and I look away, arriving on a hasty shaky decision.

“You are betrothed and we are not even in a proper relationship. How about we both go our different ways.”

I turn away but his voice says.

“I’m not leaving you.”
