"This is a gift from my husband, I will not sell it no matter what!" Mandy Zimmer protested while glaring a t her so-called relatives.
"Mandy Zimmer, you have no sympathy!"
"Do you want to see us go bankrupt?"
"You traitor! We were the ones who raised you!"
They were furious because they thought that they might have had a chance if Mandy had given the ring t o the Yorks.
Swoosh!
"Rather than telling my wife to give back her ring, why don't you all give your properties to the Yorks? They might give us a chance then," Harvey said sarcastically as he opened the door and entered the room.
The members of the Zimmer family immediately looked upset when Harvey barged in.
"Who allowed you to come to our meeting, you worthless piece of trash?!" Zack yelled at Harvey.
"I'm here to witness my wife becoming the new project manager. Am I troubling you?" Harvey asked coldly.
"Hah, keep dreaming! Both of you will be kicked out of
the family if she can't get the deal, so don’t be so confident, you good-for-nothing!" Zack laughed mockingly.
Bam!
Senior Zimmer silenced Harvey and Zack when he slammed the table. "Enough! Can't the both of you behave? Mandy, tell me your progress."
"I've got it under control," Mandy replied assuredly.
After seeing Harvey, Mandy immediately felt more confident for some reason.
"The Yorks agreed to fund us fifty million dollars. I was trying to tell you all earlier but everybody was so passionate about giving comments,” Mandy said sarcastically.
Mandy was disappointed by their fickle behaviour -they would praise her only if it benefited them. They also wouldn’t hesitate to blame her if the situation got bad for them, not to mention people like Zack and Sean who were always trying to overshadow her.
Although Mandy had succeeded, Zack's expression had darkened considerably as he wouldn't be able to benefit if he didn't get the project.
"Don't be so cheeky, Mandy Zimmer,” Zack growled quietly, since Senior Zimmer was still present.
Mandy didn't even bother about Zack as she handed the signed contract to Senior Zimmer.
"Mandy, since you didn’t let me down, I'll give you what I promised. You are now in charge of the Commercial Centre Project, and I promise to not interfere with your decisions from now on,” Senior Zimmer complimented Mandy with a wide smile on his face.
"No problem, Grandpa. I already have plans for the project. According to the Yorks, the funds will be transferred into our account later this afternoon, and they’ll fund us through a six-month installment, which means roughly 7.6 million dollars per month," Mandy said, explaining the Yorks' funding method to Senior Zimmer.
"No problem!” Senior Zimmer replied contentedly. With the fundings from the Yorks, the Zimmers would have no problems doing business with other companies. It would be very troublesome if the Zimmers were facing issues from both directions.
The contract which Mandy brought had instantly solved the biggest issue of the Zimmers.
