"Actually, it's not a big deal. It's a good thing, and I hope that you'll be able to accomplish it." Shane Naiswell smiled happily. He seemed just like a nice and warm old man. But Harvey York frowned slightly. Shane appeared outstanding and eccentric, but it was not easy to tackle such a cunning old man like him. However, Harvey still had no idea what were Shane's motives at that moment.

After thinking about it for a short while, Harvey said softly, "At first, if there's anything I can do for you, I'll certainly give you my promise immediately. But I'm a person who always acts cautiously. Hence, I still need t o say something beforehand. If it doesn't go against m y principles in life, I can give you my promise.”

Shane burst into laughter. He then said, "You’re indeed quite special, and I like that. A young man’s special character shows his capability. On the other hand, a person who always acts in an obedient manner, it means that he doesn't even have his own dignity. How could a person like that ever have the chance to rise up?"

"Since you're quite frank with me, I won't be acting quite cordial now. What do you think about the Naiswells?"

"The Naiswells come from the South Light. It's a family which focuses on the business in the antique

field, and they make friends with people from all walks of life in society. Although they always keep a low profile, they have numerous properties and great connections. There are around less than three families which are able to surpass the Naiswells in South Light. Besides, the Naiswells became a better and more influential family from a second-class family during Master Naiswell’s time. I really quite admire that.” Harvey said calmly. Regarding those large families in South Light, he was quite familiar with them since he was young. Certainly, he knew of the Naiswells. The Yorks was the most outstanding family in South Light. Hence, they always cared about the other families which might pose a threat to them.

Shane burst out laughing. "Sir, you have such thorough knowledge and insight. If ever there's anybody who still wants to label you as a worthless piece of trash or a live-in son-in-law, I’ll be the first to slap them."

"But by the way, I don’t know why you want to live in concealment with just the Zimmers. You're a smart person, and you should know that a small family like the Zimmers cannot hold you since you’re a talented person with high potential. At the same time, if a talented person wants to rise up one day, he needs some kind of assistance and favorable circumstances. The Zimmers are unable to do even a trivial thing, how could they ever give you a hand?"

"A truly capable person likes to keep a low profile. But as an experienced person like me, I still think that it’s

better to reveal your true self if you’re indeed capable, s o that the others will approve of you. Although we know that cream always rises to the top, it’s also universally acknowledged that there are indeed instances where talents are not recognized though they are everywhere. And you know that talents might be hidden too..." 1

Harvey frowned slightly and said, "Master Naiswell, do you want to invest in me? Please do speak clearly..."

"No, I'm not interested in investing in you." Shane fixed his eyes at Harvey, looking at him intensely. "I would like to let you take over the entire Naiswells..."

Harvey frowned and stood up. He then shook his head and said, "Master Naiswell, thank you for your kind intentions. But I think that my contribution toward the Naiswells is not much. It’ll just be a joke if you let a n outsider like me stay in the Naiswells."

Rosalie was filled with disbelief too. Although she was shy, she felt that no man would reject such an offer like that given her appearance, body figure, character and disposition. But that man rejected such an offer.

"Master Naiswell, you’re right. The conditions are indeed quite tempting, and it might really attract a lot of people." Harvey said, "But I'm married."

That was his reason, and it was extremely simple. 'I'm married. No matter how good or tempting your

conditions are, they won’t be able to tempt me."
